Last Exile one battle group launched there vanship squadrons and for some reason the other battle group.....didn't???
@alfa8 I don't know how familiar you are with Last Exile, but only people from Anatore (or however you write it) had vanships. People from Dusis (same here, the writing varies) who come from the snowy area only have big ships but no vanships.
And guys from the Guild have their star fighters.
I didn't have any problem with the fight scenes. My only problem was Dio's death, but that seems to be resolved.
And i liked Delphine-sama. She was like a sadistic and smarter Paris Hilton.
@StormWolf01 Yes i am well aware of the Dusis issue, but the Battle i am talking about was when the Dusis and the Anatora fought the Guild where one group scrambled there 'Vanships' but for some unknown reason the Guild didn't respond with there 'Starfighters' (Really wanted to see some dog fighting).
I also have no issue with the fight scene's with the exception of the one mentioned above, and my guess is that Dio's gonna be the crazy wise man in this series.
The reviews from the premeire in Germany has gotten very good response. Some even said it is as good if not better than the first series. Now I am super looking forward to this! :D

What happened to the OP? They really should've got 沖野俊太郎 (Okino Syuntaro) to compose and sing the song. Can't judge the whole thing just by this PV, but the pop-like song makes the anime look kinda dull. Also, man,, they could've at least made the leading girls look a bit more mature. Hope this series won't be only about cute looking girls saving the world. I mean, we expect something more stylish from this series, right?
At the start of the clip it says [Last Exile] から 8年 which translates out to "8 years after Last Exile", so this series clearly takes place in the same continuity as the first. Alistia and Tatiana are also in this along with Dio. The final volume Japanese DVD cover for the original series shows a character in a Guild uniform greeting the cast in their new home (Earth). A Gonzo staff member commented on it stating something like, "a Guild patrol picked Dio up so he isn't dead".
oh.. Dio is now Dia. So its not just an alternative world? some characters are of alternative gender aswell?? I know Dio has a female voice, but that was even more female than usual.

Tatiana is its captain, and Alister is vice-captain.
Google "Silvius Last Exile" to see what it looks like.
The silver one with all the Claudia rods is called the Lasas. It's the royal flagship of the Kingdom of Turan.

He was alive after all (don't know how he could survive a fall into the grand stream though).
That's great. And he looks super genki too, no more zombie-like behaviour like in the end of Last Exile.
The vanship pilot, she looks like claus. Probably his daughter. (I thought she was a guy, but then she spoke in a feminine way (using "atashi")).
But there's too many girls, it lacks testosterone that way.
Sophia finally got hot.
I hope we'll get to see Claus and Moran. And tatiana.

前作は映像だけ良かったと言っておられる方もおられますが、私はそうは思いません。映像、ストーリー、キャラクター、設定、結末等を総合的に見て、100点満点中100点とは言い難いですが、それでも80点はつけてもいい良作であったと思います。PV見る限り少し残念な気持ちになりそうですが、一応期待させていただきます。
