Although they directors led Kuroshitsuji fans differently with what supposedly season 2 was going to be about, it does indeed have to do with Sebastian and Ciel, although I thought it was classy that they had Ciel killed in the end (even if I love him) as to not drag out the series for purely monetary purposes and stick with the Faustian tragedy. When I found out he was alive, I was elated but at the same time, somewhat dissatisfied. However, I found Kuroshitsuji didn't have much fillers.
The second season dosn't follow a difrent family. The family faces off with Ciel (who survived for reasons I won't spoil). There is more action, it is verry consistant, and has little to no filler. It also has a suprising yet respectible ending.
Whomever told you to WATCH Kuroshitsuji is an idiot. You READ Kuroshitsui. It goes by much faster, has deeper character development and guns that belong in that time frame. And if you have no other reason to read it, read it until you learn how much of a badass that is Lizzie

This is one of the shows that the fangirls RUINED for me. I read the first manga and figured I'd give the series a shot and then it exploded and the fangirls wouldn't leave it alone. So I refused to be associated with it, the same happened with Hetalia.
I like Black Butler, but I can't stand the angel, Lizzie's weird dress up games, the doll man, and that second season kid and butler... BUT I like Ciel and Sebastian...

I like some of these anime that can actually get your attention if you actually LIKE the genre and will sit through some points. @ShadowedAngel0 In the past, he's referenced Baccano and Cowboy Bebop positively, has recommended that people go watch Otaku no Video, and I believe has been enthusiastic about the Evangelion films. Not sure about that last one though.
I have to agree, the final arc of the Black Butler anime was incredibly stupid. The manga is much better, personally. Anyways, as a yaoi fangirl myself, I do have to agree that some fangirls go overboard. Still, imagine every scene wherein Sebastian and Ciel have close interaction. Now, picture one of them as a girl. You can't really blame fangirls for getting all bothered by it.
For the record, I've always hated your reviews because they all seemed to be nonstop critisism. But I have to say that I at least partially agree with your review of Black Butler as an anime. I really loved how Yana Toboso created the scenes and flow of the story in the manga, and was severely dissapointed in the anime. And yes, Season 2 is much worse in my opinion and WILL make you want to gauge your eyes out.

In Season 2, Ciel is still alive. It explains that around episode 3, when Sebastian and Ciel are re-introduced into the show. But still, I don't recommend the second season. It is, in essence, a load of crap compared to the first season, and it seems you didn't enjoy the first season too much.

I just want to say that BB is alternate-alternate Victoria Era. Like Steampunk. Television shows are mentioned, they have guns which haven't been invented yet. Weed killer. yeah. I watched the Anime before I read the manga and LOVED it. But, season two is a total rip off. I tend ot ignore it because it was stupid. But, you are right about BB mostly being filler, I do wish they'd done the Noah's Circus arch, or the Zombie arch, which I've read and it's amazing! Lizzie kicks butt.
Season 2 of Black Butler was a gigantic genital-tease. It features a new household and then goes RIGHT BACK TO Ciel's household. Which, IMMHO, is the dumbest move EVER made.
I might suggest a series for the "What's Wrong with Anime" video segment. KoiKoi Seven. Not a great series to watch because the same predictable things keep happening over and over again with the running comedy scenes, and it has no plot whatsoever.
I'd rather see a sereis like Tenchi Muyo or Love Hina. That's just my opinion.

I'll admit, as a fangirl of Black butler, I was worried about this episode...but I agreed with pretty much everything you said!
The first 6 episodes are the only really good ones, and I'm hoping since the fanbase is big they'll make a series that follows the manga a bit more closely (probably just wishful thinking on my part) I won't talk about season 2 as that's what the people below me have done...the anachronisms were worse in the early stages of the manga (Sebastian uses a cellphone...wat)
I thought this anime was ok. I will admit there are many things that I dislike about it. Like the first few episodes were kinda boring and Ciel's servants are annoying as hell and serve no purpose until the last few episodes. Great review by the way.

I find this review good but if you watch Black Butler II you will see that (spoiler) that it does in fact bring back Sebastian and Ciel. I have not seen it but I know this for a fact.
I have to say I prefer the manga. The Noah's Arc Circus arc is a great arc as well as saddening. I still like the anime though.

I love you're videos!...even though u trash ever anime I know and love, everything you've said is exactly correct but if I may put my oppinion of fact in? That wasn't filler, I beleive that everything tht happened was there to lead up to the plot. A very weak plot at tht but to do it justice the second sequel did much better in that factor. I bow to you otaku media guy, u r completely correct on everything so far and I can't wait to see ur next vid. <3

Okay, I wanna get this out. If you DON'T like something, then just LEAVE IT BE. What did it actually do to make you hate it? I like some of these anime that can actually get your attention if you actually LIKE the genre and will sit through some points. If you don't like, drop it, don't criticize it, and leave to other people if they wanna watch it, let them. If they don't like, they don't. That's their problem. If they like it, they like. End of story.

@ShadowedAngel0 In the past, he's referenced Baccano and Cowboy Bebop positively, has recommended that people go watch Otaku no Video, and I believe has been enthusiastic about the Evangelion films. Not sure about that last one though.

I have to agree, the final arc of the Black Butler anime was incredibly stupid. The manga is much better, personally. Anyways, as a yaoi fangirl myself, I do have to agree that some fangirls go overboard. Still, imagine every scene wherein Sebastian and Ciel have close interaction. Now, picture one of them as a girl. You can't really blame fangirls for getting all bothered by it.

For the record, I've always hated your reviews because they all seemed to be nonstop critisism. But I have to say that I at least partially agree with your review of Black Butler as an anime. I really loved how Yana Toboso created the scenes and flow of the story in the manga, and was severely dissapointed in the anime. And yes, Season 2 is much worse in my opinion and WILL make you want to gauge your eyes out.

Season 2 doesn't follow a new household. It just introduces them as new characters. The main characters are still Ciel and Sebastian.
And sometimes I think the random objects that are in the wrong time period are on purpose. There is even a mobile phone and a DS in the manga

Dude, Noah's Arc Circus chapter is BAMF (or so I hear) and there's a bunch of awesome new side characters that you'll enjoy, considering you gave high marks to the ones from the filler in season one. I've only just started that part, but I can tell you it's pretty good. Thanks for reviewing this one!

I have to say, I was dissapointed....I have to admit shamingly as a yaoi fangirl is I support Ciel x Sebby I wish you would have said something about the shinigamis. Dude Ciel is freaking alive they only follow Alois Tranny-Trampy excuse me TanCY one episode. I'm suprise you didn't mention anything about Grell's chainsaw
Another thing once again you have ragged on one of my favorite animes ever yet I'm pleased with how you described it please watch the second season

In Season 2, Ciel is still alive. It explains that around episode 3, when Sebastian and Ciel are re-introduced into the show. But still, I don't recommend the second season. It is, in essence, a load of crap compared to the first season, and it seems you didn't enjoy the first season too much.

I just want to say that BB is alternate-alternate Victoria Era. Like Steampunk. Television shows are mentioned, they have guns which haven't been invented yet. Weed killer. yeah. I watched the Anime before I read the manga and LOVED it. But, season two is a total rip off. I tend ot ignore it because it was stupid. But, you are right about BB mostly being filler, I do wish they'd done the Noah's Circus arch, or the Zombie arch, which I've read and it's amazing! Lizzie kicks butt.

Season 2 of Black Butler was a gigantic genital-tease. It features a new household and then goes RIGHT BACK TO Ciel's household. Which, IMMHO, is the dumbest move EVER made.

I might suggest a series for the "What's Wrong with Anime" video segment. KoiKoi Seven. Not a great series to watch because the same predictable things keep happening over and over again with the running comedy scenes, and it has no plot whatsoever.
I'd rather see a sereis like Tenchi Muyo or Love Hina. That's just my opinion.

I'll admit, as a fangirl of Black butler, I was worried about this episode...but I agreed with pretty much everything you said!
The first 6 episodes are the only really good ones, and I'm hoping since the fanbase is big they'll make a series that follows the manga a bit more closely (probably just wishful thinking on my part) I won't talk about season 2 as that's what the people below me have done...the anachronisms were worse in the early stages of the manga (Sebastian uses a cellphone...wat)

I thought this anime was ok. I will admit there are many things that I dislike about it. Like the first few episodes were kinda boring and Ciel's servants are annoying as hell and serve no purpose until the last few episodes. Great review by the way.

I find this review good but if you watch Black Butler II you will see that (spoiler) that it does in fact bring back Sebastian and Ciel. I have not seen it but I know this for a fact.
I have to say I prefer the manga. The Noah's Arc Circus arc is a great arc as well as saddening. I still like the anime though.
