BLUES to Me is Like Herion Smack to the Worst Junkie You could possibly Find......It's Like a Drug to Me I can Feel it Runnin Thru My Viens.......And THIS is Just what the Doctor Ordered.......Thank You Mr. Clapton Sir......I play Piano Myself and I'd Rather Play Blues Than Eat When I'm Hungry !!!!!!!!! And this just feeds the Soul.... Thanks Again for Posting This.....LOVE IT !!!!!!!!
This is the kind o' stuff I paid to see him play in Cardiff last month, not some guy playin 'a keyboard tryin to imitate a guitar. Sorry Eric, you let me down pal.
I have to agree...I admit I am a fan but this was one of the best performances I've seen from Mr. Clapton. But it sure doesn't hurt that he has the "A Team" - Andy Fairweather Low, Steve Gadd, David Sancious, Nathan East and Greg Phillinganes - behind him!
Tambien los buenos guitarristas se equivocan, error de pisada a los 52 segundos, otra otra mas , al minuto con 32 segs. y otra al 2:20 min. pero bueno ya no le sigo, se le perdona por su trayectoria.
The beginning (and most of the rest) of this version is arranged almost exactly like his version of "Have You Ever Loved A Woman?" I knew they were similar, but this is almost exactly the "One More Car, One More Rider" track. Still damn good though.
I have this song on Eric Clapton's Live Blues cd. I think it's 12:49 minutes, just a couple minutes longer than this version. Both versions are awesome!
When I seen clapton in East Troy Wisconsin 1990 August. it was also Stevie Ray Vaughns last show.Clapton was on that night. He played his ass off.Doing blistering solos through practically every song.I was blown away>I wasnt even that big of a Clapton fan at that point.I had always liked Cream alot but thought clapton had turned into a tired lazy guitar player.Boy he sure made a believer out of me.clapton is God and he proved it that night.I regret to say he blew srv away.srv was great too though
Eric's blues are the cure for the blues. :-)

I think EC plays better or inspired when he's in the company of other guitar greats.
Check out some his stuff from the tour he did with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall, great playing all around!
