  • Eric's blues are the cure for the blues. :-)

  • got a vision of my guy playin me like his guitar....

  • eric lazy uh uh not in this lifetime

  • idk why but Clapton reminds me of Hugh Laurie (House) lol. Anyway I can't describe who fucking sexy this song is!!

  • Sorry super big but when Clapton plays there ARE no wrong notes.

  • Gadd!!

  • God!

  • MAMMA MIA!!!!!

  • even Clapton gets notes wrong at c 53 seconds, i feel better that now thats its not just me when i solo, easily don tho

  • Excellent. Amazing with total class.

  • he didnt blow srv away thats for sure, they tied though

  • BLUES to Me is Like Herion Smack to the Worst Junkie You could possibly Find......It's Like a Drug to Me I can Feel it Runnin Thru My Viens.......And THIS is Just what the Doctor Ordered.......Thank You Mr. Clapton Sir......I play Piano Myself and I'd Rather Play Blues Than Eat When I'm Hungry !!!!!!!!! And this just feeds the Soul.... Thanks Again for Posting This.....LOVE IT !!!!!!!!

  • This is the kind o' stuff I paid to see him play in Cardiff last month, not some guy playin 'a keyboard tryin to imitate a guitar. Sorry Eric, you let me down pal.

  • yea u cant mess with the clapton he'll woop out those t-bone walker tunes on yo ass

  • I have to agree...I admit I am a fan but this was one of the best performances I've seen from Mr. Clapton. But it sure doesn't hurt that he has the "A Team" - Andy Fairweather Low, Steve Gadd, David Sancious, Nathan East and Greg Phillinganes - behind him!

  • You just feel this shit. There's no other way to describe it.

  • What a performance. Man on Fire. What an absolute joy it is to hear him play and sing.

  • Happy birthday Eric, I love you with all the cells in my body

  • Thanks...

  • CLAPTON IS GOD!

  • Oh My GOD!!! Orgasm till death!

  • I wonder if Eric and Gary Moore have played together....

  • @64Latifah sadly not

  • papa got new strings

  • Damn great :)

  • I love this song. Eric Clapton does the best version I've ever heard of Stormy Monday.

  • Nice!

  • The beginning (and most of the rest) of this version is arranged almost exactly like his version of "Have You Ever Loved A Woman?" I knew they were similar, but this is almost exactly the "One More Car, One More Rider" track. Still damn good though.

  • Lord Have mercy lord have mercy on me..

  • noone is god except god, but clapton is good

  • Oh my, this is the blues how it oughta be

  • Ahh...yeah!

  • Is that Nathen East on Bass??

  • @coolsax64 Yes

  • Nina, mi corazon. Stormy monday, tuesday is just as bad. Wednesday is even worse. Lord have mercy.

  • 0:53 even god makes mistakes lol

  • I have this song on Eric Clapton's Live Blues cd. I think it's 12:49 minutes, just a couple minutes longer than this version. Both versions are awesome!

  • clapton is a guitar god

  • im tempted to buy a cheapy strat copy and attempt to recreate that sexy paint job

  • explains it i was like i see andy's guitar but where is he haha

  • aguante clapton y argentina volve loco!

  • When I seen clapton in East Troy Wisconsin 1990 August. it was also Stevie Ray Vaughns last show.Clapton was on that night. He played his ass off.Doing blistering solos through practically every song.I was blown away>I wasnt even that big of a Clapton fan at that point.I had always liked Cream alot but thought clapton had turned into a tired lazy guitar player.Boy he sure made a believer out of me.clapton is God and he proved it that night.I regret to say he blew srv away.srv was great too though

  • I think EC plays better or inspired when he's in the company of other guitar greats.

Check out some his stuff from the tour he did with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall, great playing all around!

  • without a doubt one of the all around best musicians!!!!!

  • wonderful
