... no one Dislikes Mraz, if they do they merely are going off the only song they've heard "im yours", which is phenomenal, but it's not everyones taste (hawaiian touch to it); me i love it lol... and i LOVE how he NEVER sings a song the same way twice... the vocal melodies blow my mind =)!

people say you cant compare them (apples to oranges concept). but really, they are very close musically... guitar vocalist. but, when you take a closer look, you can see clearly that they are in a league of their own when it comes to guitar vocalists. they set the standard. then, you can break down their differences. thing is, what makes both of them different is what makes them great. i am addicted to both artists' work, however if i had to choose one, it would be jason hands down.

Mayer has more complicated, melodic style, versus Mraz's simple, rhythmic style, not to mention his ability to freestyle and extemporize. Both are amazing lyricists, but totally different style of musicians.

John is hands down a better composer/ guitar player but jason is by far a better vocalist than mayer.. jason's vocal range is incredible... johns writing style is more straight forward as to where jasons you have to really listen to find what he's trying to say... both 2 of my fav musicians

he was born to do this. I'll be glad to be as happy as he is with his job with mine. He makes everything seem so easy when in reality it's very hard.
