  • cool

  • haha fucking true!

  • As if they would do something as accurate as give her freckles!

  • lol

  • lmao

  • Blame YATES AND THE WRITERS! THEY CHANGED GINNY NOT BONNIE! BONNIE ACTED OUT AS MUCH AS SHE WAS GIVEN! THEY DIDNT GIVE HER THE PROPER SCENES THAT SHE SHOULD OF HAD THEY WERE TOO BUSY LOVING EMMA TO EVEN GIVE A RIP ABOUT IT! AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO FOUND THIS FUNNY YOU SHOULD BE APPALLED I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU ACT WITH THE CRAP WRITING SHE WAS GIVEN!

I THINK BONNIE DID A PHENOMENAL JOB! AND FOREVER WILL

  • correction: in the 3rd movie she said "the fat lady. she's gone!"

    LOL

  • its ASTONISHING how accurate this is. Me and my friend always talk about how pointless Ginny is cuz she has like one line per movie. the sad thing is, that actress is without a doubt a multi-millionare for basically nothing.

  • Very clever video :L

  • This is painfully accurate.

  • hahahaha this is brilliant! And so true.

    Love it!

  • I've probably watched this video like 5 times now. It is seriously hilarious I can't stop watching it! :D

  • In the books, Ginny's like this amazing, spunky, brave, funny girl and we see Harry have some amazing times with her before he falls in love. In the movie, it's just... Awkward is the only way to describe it. It's not Bonnie's fault, it's the scriptwriters.

  • @wolfiegirl81 i agree!

  • during the part in deathly hallows part 2 where she yells "HARRY!", i turned to my friend and said "that is the only piece of semi acting i have ever seen from her."

  • Year two is the BEST .. lolol!

  • Don't worry, when Ginny and Harry get married she won't stop talking.

  • I've been rereading the books lately and I forgot how much more of ginny there is! Her and harry actually TALK and seem to like each other. And not to mention how badass she is in the order of the phoenix.

  • I just watched that entire thing thinking it was Hermione for some reason.

  • its because the actress canne act (They ruined ginny)

  • we all know potters have a thing for redheads.

  • Accurate.

  • I was thinking of thumbing up the top comment, then realized it had 69 thumbs up and didn't want to break the streak.

  • haha fantastic

  • Perfect! This was amazing! ;)

  • That's so true! Really, the movies just messed her up so much. I mean, Ginny's cool. Why can't the idiots who only watch the movies get a chance to see that as well?

  • @rosely4 :/

  • Haha, definitely portrayed perfectly. I think you did a better Job than Bonnie Wright!!!

  • Thing is, Ginny's a great character in the books. I feel that Ginny's flaws in the movies are as much to do with Steve Kloves as they are to do with Bonnie Wright. Steve Kloves has character preferences and it shows in his writing. He loves Hermione so Hermione gets every other line. He's not as big a fan of Ron so Ron gets less. However, with Ron, Rupert Grint at least could act. Bonnie Wright...not so much.

  • Bonnie (Ginny) she's amazing I hate your video

  • @monikitamonitiux shes just saying that the writers didnt give her enough dialouge

  • Yeah, you completely messed up. This is way too harsh and judgmental.

...She totally said "Good luck" in the first movie. ; )

  • haha, sorry to have no intelligent thing to say about this besides that it made me laugh, but I've never read the books!

  • "..............Harry. O.o"

  • The one dislike is ginny

  • This is true. I never really liked Ginny, not even in the books. She's nothing special, so plain, they never show any characteristic that'd make you say "THAT'S something Ginny would do". I mean, we know Luna's the dreamer, sort of crazy one and Hermione's the know-it-all, but Ginny? Bleh... nothing to say about her... Also, in the books they make her sound gorgeous and "hot" but honestly, Bonnie Wright isn't exactly stunning... she's okay, I guess.

  • @xhokeypokey Ginny's tough, she's the only one who can deal with Harry when he's in a bad mood, she can do a mean bat-bogey hex, she loves Quidditch, she has a good sense of humor that even the twins appreciate. Not to mention the kindness she has for the underdogs, like Neville and Luna. There's a lot to Ginny, she's a great character. But it's only in the books. The writers gave her nothing in the movies.

  • ACCURATE.

  • xD this is definitely accurate!

i really don't like Ginny, probably just because they never actually go into her character much. i kinda feel like she was just made up because SOMEONE had to get with Harry in the end, and Hermione was taken

  • Thid is so true.

  • That was clearly Hermione's wand. But also you should do one of Ginny in the books. That one might not be appropriate though...

  • She IS a bigger character in year 2, remember? XD

    *sigh* Oh, the movies ...

    - Jason

  • I literal lolled at this. and I am alone in this house. therfore, it must be EXTREMELY funny :P

  • OMGTHIS IS GOING TO GET SO MANY REBLOGS!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! reblog forever

  • Accurate.

  • Yeah...I'd say this was pretty accurate.

  • Well gosh, she forgot that time Ginny so eloquently said "I know" in Deathly Hallows Part 2 before that godawful kiss between her and Harry and then we never hear another word from her again.

  • Hahahahaha! So true! Ginny was pretty ignored in the movies, AND Idl her -_- I USED to not have a problem with that actress, but now she bugs me.

    *hug*

  • Wow, SO funny.

Her character never got the attention JK Rowling expected us to have for her. I realize that the books were never about Harry's love life. The main relationship of the series was Harry and Ron and Hermione... but come on! REALLY! Give us more Ginny.

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAH.

    hahahhahahahha

    hahahah

    haha

    SO. TRUE.

  • Lightenup15 gets it spot on. Steve Kloves' Ginny is the complete opposite of his Neville. While Neville was developed brilliantly over the 7 films, Ginny was virtually ignored; maybe because he never saw their romance coming. Although we don't know how much JK Rowling told him about eventual plot developments.

    Love the freckles.

  • so much win

  • soooooo true

  • The sad thing is that Bonnie totally has the ability to play Ginny like she was written, but the writers didn't let her. Boohoo.

  • That was waaay too awesomeee!!! <3

  • bahahahahaha this is too funny :)

  • You pretty much summed her up pretty good in the movies.

  • you posted this the day before her birthday! but i love this SO MUCH

  • Hahaha! So true, I love Ginny in the books, but I just don't seem to like her as much in the movies. This must be why.

  • You are absolutely right! It's kinda funny because just a day or two ago my best friend (who is currently reading the books after watching the movies) and I were talking about how Ginny is so awesome in the books and so bland in the movies!

  • Okay, this is genius.

God, the lack of ANYTHING that was Ginny in the movies has always made me crazy.

Now that I think of it, I think that's part of why I've never shipped Ginny/Harry very much.

  • Now that I watched this, you're totally right! That and no one knows the actress' name that plays Ginny. That's hilarious

  • SO TRUE!!! Ginny barely any lines and had no emotion at all!!

  • Your acting is better than hers

  • Thanks you for making this! I hate how they make her in the movies! In the books she is so cool and awesome but in the movies she just seems brain dead.

  • This is the freakin' truth. Poor Bonnie had nothing to go off of, thanks to Kloves. :|

  • This is so true, but I didn't like Ginny anyway.

  • Seriously, you can't have a love story when one of the characters essentially isn't there. It would have been the same if Harry had a relationship with Mrs. Figg...no wait she probably had a more meaningful storyline than Ginny...

  • Haha, I love this. :D

The accent leaves something to be desired though.

  • Finally! Someone who agree's with me. I know some strictly only movie HP "fans" and they all hate her. I always say that she's "boring and lame" because she HAS NO LINES!!!! There is no way to character develop IF THEY DON'T HAVE ANY LINES!

  • This is so freaking accurate. I don't blame Bonnie though, she can only do so much when they give her NOTHING resembling her book character. Ginny in the books was such a badass.

  • -Kills the like button-

  • This is REALLY funny, and true!

  • i've always disliked ginny. ALWAYS. and in the films she is so incredibly dull.

  • this is completely true, I was just talking about this with my friend!

  • Ginny is one of my favorite characters, but she's not even... anything in the movies. This made me realize it.

  • SUCH. ACCURACY.

  • It's actually really sad, cos her character is so brilliant in the books. I don't even blame Bonnie Wright though, she was just written terribly.

  • Gah! I love this! You're wonderful!

  • That's very true and she just comes off slutty and you never really see Harry's feelings for her

  • im really really really attracted to you in anything you do...

  • Ginny's character isn't properly developped, I think, not even in the books (as to the movies- I won't even go there). She is supposed to be a main character, she's Harry's love! All we see is an awkward girl who all of a sudden becomes super cool, hot and popular, for no apparent reason, and she only gets a few lines now and then. Even Luna's character is more vivid and real! I feel like I don't know Ginny at all. Not to mention the Harry+Ginny thing, which is plainly cold, abrupt, indifferent

  • @lightenup15 Agreed!

  • @lightenup15 See this whole thing is why I ship Drarry. There's more sexual tension between those two than any other pairing. Except maybe Voldermort and Dumbledore am I right? Bam chicka wow wow!

  • Half of those years reminded me of magibon.

  • An when I thought your videos couldn't possible get any better...you do this :D

  • SO TRUE. tbh though I'm glad she didn't have anymore lines because the girl can't act to save her life.

  • in the first movie she said "good luck" to harry before he went though the pillar!!! wait..oh god i gotta stop watching these movies =.=

  • youre a bitch! leave ginny alone.

  • So. True.

  • They possible gave her less lines because she can not act to save her life! D;

  • @TheUpasanaK noooot trueeee

  • Haha this is brilliant :)

  • Doesn't she say that the Fat Lady's gone in PoA? Just sayin'.

  • @ChappStickMan Yes, she does. And in OOTP there's a couple of scenes where she makes Reducto and blow up everything

  • I really actually liked Ginny in the books. So how she was written in the movies definitely made me sad. ): But this is hilarious :)

  • lmao! Exactly!

  • I keep saying shes basically a useless character. She doesn't DO anything.

  • lol so true! poor girl!

  • This is so true :D

  • So true.

    Movie Ginny is so awkward.

  • Hahahahahahahahah xD

I hated Ginny in the books and the movies and this is so accurate.

  • SO TRUE.

  • Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight!?!?

  • Can I link this on tumblr?

  • @marus815 OF COURSE!

  • @RockstarRaquel

Thanks!! This is too wonderfull and I NEED to share it.....

  • @marus815 you should not, however, talk about linking it on Tumblr.

  • @marus815 I was just about to do that!

  • Absolutely correct!

  • THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER

  • I think she did well in year six, but other than that yes, she didn't get to build a character at all.

  • Great video Raquel! You brought me the magic to laugh today!

  • Ginny and Harry are so awkward in the movies but so great in the books! People who haven't read the books probably don't understand why she and Harry end up together because they don't seem comfortable around each other.

  • hahah so true. Bonnie Wright was probably the most disappointing part of the movies for me because I love her character so much in the books!

  • Can you do her in the books, too, so the two can be compared? I honestly don't feel like she had much of a bigger presence in the books, quite frankly.

  • Hahahaha I love this, but it's so sad because Ginny is SO. AWESOME. in the books!

  • So. True.

  • hahahaha so so so true.

  • so sad because it's so true.

  • LMAO I love you for this!

This is great. I had to share this on facebook and on tumblr.

  • this is very true XD

  • This is wooooonderful.

  • Yeah that has bugged me all the way through the movies. (altho to be honest, a lot of stuff has bugged me all the way through the movies lol)

  • She was so brilliant in the books! Now as for the movies... this is pretty accurate.

  • This is why everyone thinks she's a lamp...I wish she wasn't such a lamp in the movies.

  • They also made her a lot less cool and pretty than she was in the books.

  • Hahaha, pretty much!

Also, I love all of your wigs. (I have an obsession with wigs in general though.) So every time you whip out a new one, I'm like... :o xD

  • lol great

  • She says, "Good luck" and then smiles in the first one :)

  • There is a huge difference between Ginny in the books and the movies. I have been calling them book Ginny and movie Ginny for a while now. :L

  • :) It's actually pretty true to the movies

  • Wow. I never thought about it, but that is right on the money on Ginny's dialogue in the movie. Allthough I did drink the Cool Ade or Pumpkin Juice when it came to the realationship between Harry and Ginny.

  • Technically in year one she wishes harry good luck when he runs into the wall to get to platform 9 and 3/4 but it's hardly worth mentioning...

  • SO TRUE!!!

  • Oh you are fantastic :) love all of this <3

  • This is so accurate. I loved book Ginny and movie Ginny is such a let down, she's so poorly written. Not to mention the complete lack of chemistry between Dan and Bonnie.

  • Haha! 100% Right! xD

  • You speak the truth! :P

  • Your eyes are amazing!

  • this is so right! but also...ginny weasley is kind of a bland character all around.

  • hahaha, love this <333

  • TRUTH!

I loved Ginny so much in the books but there's just NOTHING TO HER AT ALL in the movies!

  • So true! I also don't particularly like Bonnie Wright because she is always cold and slightly wooden. Maybe that's mildly unfair though.

  • Wow, this is making me really look forward to Part II; the despair/joy/surprise/concern shown by Ginny in that movie will make it thrilling no doubt =]

  • Don't you think Ginny Weasley should be the young Amy Pond?

  • TRUTH. And your costume is SO REALISTIC!

  • Genius! Not only for the total accuracy, but for the perfect VEDA-able video 'cause it takes little effort to get the point across!

  • I actually like book Ginny.she's a badass girl! But in the movies she's so... awkward. and as a true harry potter fan I do not like the final film.

  • @Aveirah As a true Harry Potter fan I loved the final film. But I keep the books and movies seperate. Because they are so different.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I added this to my favorites before I watched it.

    No regrets, just lulz.

  • @kassiehp0593 I sang "no regrets, just lulz" in my head like from the Katy Perry song. I am now inlove with this line.

  • Damn that is exact! Can you now do Ginny in the books? :P

  • So true! Ginny had the personality of a dead fish in the movies.

  • You're right - the writers didn't give Ginny good dialogue!

  • @PolesitterPictures the book showed her in a better light

  • @rustynailspk Agreed!

  • For a while I didn't get why people who had only seen the movies hated Ginny so much, then I realized that because she's got pretty much no role in the movies, my mind was inserting the awesome character from the book without me realizing it!

  • ACCURATE!!!

  • Perfect.

  • This is magically perfect. You've actually just summed up Bonnie's role in less than a minute. *high five*

  • So accurate! Why did they have to screw her up so much in the movies?

  • Lmao, you make a convincing ginger ;D

    Great video!

  • that is incredibly true lmao

    very nice portrayal!

  • THIS IS SO ACCURATE.

  • Petronus: Now a vague euphemism! : )

    ~ Jethro.

  • Raquel, you are a genius.

  • Haha this is amazing!

Ginny has no personality in the movies. Nothing like the amazing, confident, clever Ginny that's in the books.

  • I laughed so hard that I actually snorted.

And her patronus? Is that what they're calling it now?

  • ACCURATE. OMG SO ACCURATE.

  • The saddest thing is... they let her into film school!

  • Very, very accurate. This is beautiful.

  • harry loves complex women.

but what about that awkward shoe tying thing? oh my god.

  • You are my favorite
