I'm well aware this is a joke, but I think there's elements of the map design here that would actually work in a Sonic game, especially on the second map. The ramps, intersecting hallways, and curved tunnels all seem like they'd work well in a platformer. Just replace the textures with something less dark and gritty, add Sonic objects and nobody would probably know the difference.
