I read an interview where she stated "Derek Acorah was faking the possessions and he was tested when one of the men working for the show placed papers with statements on them around the area, to see if they would be later repeated" Their suspicion came ot be known when all of Dereks "Possessions" appeared with the same voice. If you actually listened to Yvette you would have heard her say, "that's because he's a fake bastard" :) The End.

I absolutely LOVE everyone on Most Haunted EXEPT for Derek. He's the fakest person I've ever seen on any ghost show. You can TELL his possesions are a load of hooha. Most everything else on there is probably real though. YAY David! BOO Derek!

Man thats an old phrase XD love it. I know most haunted is more than bit dodgy... I belive it was totally fine for the first series or two and then it got really dodgy. Theres nothing to suggest derek has anything to do with the faking in this video, She just gives an opinion... gotta be fair aint we =)

I have studied the paranormal for years and I have a bad habbit of doing my own homework on places these shows tour. I stopped watching Most haunted after the episode about the cottage and the plague grounds or whatever they called it when my "homework" turned up that this particular place did not suffer what heclaimed nor had the plague been present anywhere near the time frame he gave.

I think that shes managed to damage the credability of every show involving Derek now that shes accused him of being fake, i dont acctualy think that he is a fake & that there may be more to this dispute between Derek & Yvette than him being accused of being a fake but so far Derek hasnt spoken out about it so we only know Yvettes side of the story. This debate could run & run & still no one would know the truth coz there are 3 sides to every story, yours, mine & then the truth...

No surprise to find out Derek is a fake but I do believe David Wells & Gordon Smith are genuine. When I went to one of his evenings of mediumship before I knew of Most Haunted everyone he spoke to sounded very proper like they were actors. I was a bit suspicious because it was in the east end of Glasgow and not one Glasweigan got a message only the poshly spoken non Glasweigans.
