  • I saw them at Wellmont w/ Vampire Weekend... they weren't on tour, but they came because there was finally a cool venue opening close to where they grew up. I really came to see them, but I came late and only heard the last 2 songs... -_-

  • @AikaGranzchesta you lucky motha motha

  • This bar sucks. Never ever go there.

  • Wrong. As a bar, it may not have much character. But for a small place, it gets some amazing acts BEFORE they head off to larger venues!

  • hounds cover is truly amazing

  • rip john pike.

ra ra riot are truly phenomenal i love the hounds cover

  • my brother is friends with them.....

  • This make me very much like goodness.

  • If anyone has more video from the Ra Ra Riot show at the Middle East on May 4, 2007, please let me know. It was the last show John's family got to see him play. It would mean a lot.

    Thanks.

  • these guys are always a fun show.. that kate bush cover is one of my favorite things to hear live

such an unbelievable shame about john...

  • John Pike will live on!

  • ra ra riot drummer John Pike has tragically passed away. please keep him in your prayers. a promising, talented and unassuming young man, he will never be forgotten.

  • ra ra riot is indeed awesome.. and also just to make it clear, "hounds of love" is a kate bush cover.. the original poster of this video may have known that but they said "their songs.."

  • one of the most promising bands coming up today.

  • Ra Ra Riot are the most charismatic and energetic band as I've seen in a long time. They are a band whose enthusiasm can erase the boundary between artist and audience. They are having fun--so you should too. You have to see and hear their version of Kate Bush's Hounds of Love. The violin and cello are beautifully melded to cover the backup vocals (from Kate's version) and fill the song out in unexpected ways.
