@lolvely1 Yes! If your sim's hunger meter is full and you started eating something,it could make them fatter. And the treadmill makes them skinnier,but the exercize machine doesn't. It gives you muscles.

hey, i got the Sims 3 for Christmas, and it works terirbly. my step-dad works with computers for a living, and he replaced the video card (several times) and downloaded all the latest patches, but whenever there are more than 2 sims on a certain lot or area, the game lags, and out of nowhere it will either freeze or just completely shut the entire computer down. HELP!!

Seriously, install The Sims 2 with all the expansions and DON'T add any mods. Then compare with the The Sims 3 Sims, the Sims from The Sims 3 look MUCH better.

The only reason the Sims from The Sims 2 look better is because people mod The Sims 2 with new skins, new hair, etc. etc.

Compare The Sims 2 base game and The Sims 3 base game, you'll see that The Sims 3 is MUCH more feature rich than The Sims 2. No mods!

You're missing my point.I'm not saying Sims 3 is not as good as the Sims 2,or less creative,or anything.I'm saying its EXPENSIVE.Sure,the game itself is 30 or 40 bucks.But then the add ons.Shirts,clothes,hair,furnit­ure,houses,maps,textures,cars,­vehicles,ect.....You don't start out with as much stuff as you do in the Sims 2.You start out with what-12 or 13 hair customizations?Sure theres more,but you gotta BUY them.If you ask me,all the add ons should be a freebie.There not worth the extra money.

Just kidding, but World Adventures is an awesome expansion pack, I never liked Vacation/Bon Voyage expansions, they're just not that fun, so I was rather disappointed to hear that the first expansion for The Sims 3 would be this, although, now in hindsight, I do realize that I shouldn't be so quick to judge, it's a great first expansion pack! I really love it.
