  • flintstone xD your awesome as always! :)

  • Nice chord voicings man. As a jazz player, i can appreciate that you have that diverse of a chord vocabulary. Did you spend a lot of time working on jazz/studying in school or anything?

  • Wonderful!!

  • sorry, aleman would not have agreed - you need to stick to the classic structure

(hint: see ton von bergeyk's arrangement)

  • I am lost for words

  • Wow. Beautiful control and amazing tone.

  • Great playing, but the follically challenged should never do skull shots. Consider a hair tat.

  • ill say you got rhythm

  • DUDE, YOU THE MAN!!!!! GOODNESS, IF I COULD BUT A MORSEL....OH GOOD IT TASTE. MMMM....YEAH, YEAH, YEAH......LA,LA,LA.....SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!1

  • I didn't think it could get much better, but then you did the most kick ass Flintstones rendition on earth in the middle. Hats off good Sir.

    Nathan

  • he just feels it

  • I'm your perfect fan :D

  • Key changes were great.. Who knew Gershwin would be so much fun on guitar

  • I enjoyed that... and I see that you enjoyed that too!

  • Well done! Who could ask for anything more? :-)

  • that's so funny. i was at a party this summer and i asked my friend (with better ears than mine) to figure out 'the flinstones' which he did. my other friend, a trumpet player, remarked that it was 'i goy rhythm' chords.

  • Great to see someone enjoying playing so much. :)

  • That was fuckin awesome.

  • cool

  • great bass line, it really makes the song!

  • I had a great laugh....rolling on the ground when I heard The Flinstones passing by.....YOU GOOOOOOOOOD ;) Exceptional

  • Holy freakin' goodness gracious!!! Great playing. Love your other stuff too. Your originals are best, I think. This is great though!

  • awesome

  • which came first, the Taylor or the Cole Clark? I ask because I've just gone from on to the other...

  • People can play & replay & replay... but what you are sharing here is quite a gift. Thanks very much.. There's not much more you can expect out of a 6 string than what you have shown. Tremendous show.

p.s. Love the Flintstones.... you just don't hear enough jazzmen play that tune.

  • dude.

    wow.

  • AMAZINGGG

  • Got Rhythm my eye I think you invented it or at least reinvented it.Thanks again Adam. You are a class act!

  • It's obvious that you have multiple brains housed in your skull. I would guess at least ten......... one for each finger and then some......!

  • @fourtoi hahahahaha 2shay

  • Great playing, it's wonderful to see some real independence of line in this recording! How do you make your tone so sharp with your fingers? If nails, what do you do to keep the steel strings from eating them up?

  • No nails. This arrangement is very hard, I have not played it in a while!!! Thank you...

  • extraordinaire !

mais combien de cerveaux a-t-il ? ça a l'air si simple..

  • your style reminds me of tommy emmanuel.........fabulous!

  • nice

  • You are amazing man!!!

  • oh my! you're impossible! i'm breathless!

  • 2:51 LOL Nice XDD

  • Hi Adam, great arrangement, the Flintstones after the funky bit are good clean fun (-:

  • Great work on this a super arrangement of Yabba Dabba doo Rhythm. Great work with Tommy at BBK's 9/16 great to hear you do your "Superstition" arrangement live.Your duo on "Tenderly" put me in mind of the Lenny Breau part on the same tune on the "Standard Brands" album (Tommy did the Chet part). You would enjoy hearing Lenny esp on the Chet collaborations. If LB is undiscovered territory for you you're in for a treat.

  • awesome!

  • Yes, I think this is probably the one that does the most at demonstrating his skill.

  • You're just a tremendous musician. Well done.

  • 5 stars

The way you enjoy what your doing.

    it's great.!

  • most impressive Adam, thanks.

  • Its my favorite arrangement my friend!

    Pasha

  • Interesting version after hearing Martin Taylor's OTT live version. Quite different for the same tune yet similar. I enjoyed it a lot.

  • BRAVO ! Was good seeing Rafferty live

    last week at Swannanoa. Refreshing.

  • You are another guitarist that I put on my list as "the most skillful and amazing one". The first on the list is Tommy Emmanuel then people like Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Travis. You feel the music and having fun of playing. You do what u love !

  • one word: GREAT !!!!!

  • This man is insane. But, he plays the guitar like a maniac. Very nice!

  • throughout the whole video

    i was thinking....

  • My god, no words about this ! Super !

  • Dude... no words... :)

I've wacthed you super stoned, and this was my best super stoned time ever... 5*****

  • That was fun! Thanks for the good time...

  • You should try to get on a late night talk/variety show. I haven't seen anything better on any of 'em.

  • This just made my day! Thanks a lot:-)

  • Unbelievable playing and I've never heard I've got rhythm sound so alive, that's one thing this guy does and that's make the acoustic guitar sing.

  • I never enjoyed rhythm changes so much! Standing ovation (I look a tad silly standing here applauding my 'puter ~ but it's worth it!!).

  • God that's gooood! I love those changes Adam and adding "The Flinstones," theme well...how you not right? lol It works out perfectly. You have such great musical palette and a real nack for rhythm. You are such a wonderful influence on my playing and the best part, is that hearing and seeing you play makes me excited about the guitar and especially Fingerstyle Guitar, all over again. I love that. Please give us more Peace. : D

  • i never did like this style, it sound like something from reading rainbow, or mr rogers, but i love all you other stuff, you are amazing and i like how you get into it,

  • i like martin taylor version!!

  • whoah that was so cool!!! Would be awesome to hear from 58 secs to 1 min 2 secs in harmonics...kinda like tommy uses a lot!!! But man that was great!!! 5 stars!!!!

  • is that a taylor 414ce i see there?

  • oh. my good god. i normally dont leave posts on youtube but this is i think the best solo guitar rendition i have ever seen of anything. ever. period!.

ive been playing 25+yrs. know some chords and my way aropund the board but this. THIS! just makes me feel like a one-day-in beginner.

    totally and utterly blown away.

thanks so much for that - great!

  • he writes them!

  • I love that counterpoint! Thanks again Adam for another great performance. Man, I don't thing there is anything that we guitarists can't do, when we set out minds to it. Adam pretty much proves that. Let's all keep pumpin those strings. Thanks for the inspiration Adam. Peace.

  • awesome playing! love the benson lick at around 2:40

  • Incredible, what's going on here, keeping that walkin bass and melody going, giving a drumsolo, some improvising in between, fantastic, words are to less to express, just great, greets Vic.(thanks Fendermac for sending)

  • I would like to see you in concert. I'll bet you rock the stage.

  • I can see that an acoustic guitar can become quite dangerous in the hands of someone like you. Go back to electric before you kill us all! Seriously though, you make most of us want to go back to the woodshed, either to practice, or to to get some lighter fluid for the bonfire that we just through our guitars in.

  • nice guitar

  • You are killing me on this man. Love the tone and the thumbpick. I remember when you first started messing with that. Damn, you are slaying that summabitch now. Hahaha.

  • Hey Adam, amazing stuff. I didn't even know you play acoustic fingerstyle - I thought you were a straight-ahead beboper (and a great one, at that). Post more!

  • hey i heard the flinstones in that! really good again there.

  • Hey, Adam! How did a white guy get all that rhythm??? :-D Nice to see you still ripping up the fretboard, my friend! And HELL YEAH! Pounding that guitar Tommystyle now... and the fingerpicking at the end (I ain't gonna give away the song) made me just about hit the floor laughing... you are really taking fingerstyle into be-bop in your OWN way... nice to see a true pioneer at work! Of course, this is saved on the AVA again... :-) PEACE!
