I feel so angry sometimes since I know both sides I know what its like to be the child CAS is interviewing and then to the be reversed now and the Parent fighting for their child it is really tough my son is my whole world and now they are going to tare him apart from me like they took my siblings away from my mother and gave them to my father who is an alcoholic and doesn't care for no one but himself and now I am having the same fight as my mother is to keep my own son.

I was adopted out to a single family setting apparently at age three and a half months.

My understanding is the woman who adopted me divorced my 1st stepfather father because he kicked me in the back and sent me flying across the lawn from a doorway.

To this day i have suffered back pains and have a damaged spine to prove it.

She remarried a second stepfather who beat her till she couldn't see out of her eyes on many occasions - and he also broke my nose when i was around 8 years old.

The purpose of the in situ assaults is to falsify evidence and to attack the child. The offenders who doi these attacks false accuse and do anything to harm a CHILD WHO HAS TOLD ON ONE OF THEM. they don't want their attacks recorded so that they can LIE ABOUT THEM LATER. the intention is to do as much harm and to hurt children by getting school officials to go along while they cook up a faked cases and assault the child very step of the way.

Alberta Response Model Teams attack children at school regularly abusing them day long Matt Linzer and Karen Kerr abused children using the assault on very young kids then false accuse them knowingly and call them liars. They attempt to shape testjmony severely abuse the child. The favorite is "who told you to say that?" to a five year old as if there is no reason a child would tell something of their own accord. Attackers attempt to shape testimony. The purpose is so they are not on camera.

These meetings should have to be recorded in full (w/o interuption, so they cannot be doctored and altered.) by a third party legal representative that represents the child and parent, and CAS should have to foot the bill.

Unless you have actually experienced the abuse by CAS workers, or know someone personally who has, you may not believe the interrogation tactics that is used to extract misleading and often false information from children. Once the CAS has a file on a family, the abuse and harassment from the CAS toward the family is ongoing and persistent. The school administrators often treat children and their parents differently after the CAS conducts their damaging interviews.

Far to often Children are being abused in schools by CAS workers. CAS went to my children's school and harrased them, when my children told the worker that they not wish to speak with her they were told they would be put into foster care. These unregistered CAS workers get away with child abuse on a daily basis.

Many times CAS workers want to speak to children because of false allegations between ex partners. Once CAS come into the school, harm is done to the children even when the children are not being harmed. I would suggest that you check out our website and read the documentation about detaining children at schools.. In a free and democratic society we cannot ignore basic rights.

I think the fact that they call the child down to the office at school is great , its not like they are going straight to the classroom to deliberately embarrasss them. If they do it at home or call them what will happen if there is a situation at home going on? it will give the parents time to prep their child on what to say.

I am the interviewer who interviewed these children. Since, I have interviewed dozens of children saying the same things. Even today, I got a call from a 15 year old teen. with the same story again. There are just too many of these stories .

Just one story of abuse of a child by government paid child protection workers is too much. Just because their are other stories which may "balance" the story, does not justify children being abused in their schools and their rights violated.

Every video and comment suggesting CAS is corrupt and unjust seems to only come from those who have actually dealt with them or know someone close to them who has. Since it is a situation affecting them or someone they know, their opinions are 100% bias. The people bad-mouthing CAS are just upset that they or someone they know got caught abusing their children and now face the consequences of their actions.

To anyone that has never had them attack, they seem all holy and wise, knowing all the skills necessary to discern truth. In truth, they SHOULD be such... None of these videos or comments portray the other side of the story, or how CAS is also the one to blame when a child dies, it was due to their failure to protect them. The clients of the CAS are always the victims of maltreatment.  They are never drug addicts, alcoholics, pedophiles, rapists, neglectful, physically abusive, or severely mentally ill. They are all parenting in a perfect capacity, that is why their children are apprehended.

This happened to a friend of mine. They took her kid and put him in a youth home. When she came home and found out she called me and I told her what to do to get her kid back. They kidnapped her kid wihout just cause and placed him in a home without court permission. Know your rights and stand by them. She got her kid back and CAS/FAC learned they can't bully people and get away with it! Someone is always watching!

The point is that CAS should not be interviewing at the school where they are embarrassed in front of their friends and teachers. CAS workers should have the kids meet CAS workers at CAS offices.

@CourtWatch and how are these kids going to get to the office? And what if these children return home after school and are injured or killed. Who will get blamed for that? CAS. Think about it before you make judgements. And relying on the words of the clients is never 100% accurate, as they are never going to portray themselves as warranting a child protection investigation. It is all lies to them, regardless of any proof of abuse.

CPS needs to be abolished. If child abuse is a crime, treat it like a crime. Make the cops do their job, and do it properly. Far more children are abused in so-called "care" than by their parents, so if we abolished CPS today, abuse would plummet.

This is "exactly" what is happening in BC. Except teachers, especially in smaller communities practically throw open the doors to protection workers after reporting "any" incident well below a threshold of abuse. Ear pulling, if a child arrives sad at school and if parental punishment is associated. If the teacher or principal doesn't like the parents, their kids are canvassed as to "how are you doing at home" and reporting to build up the intake count. Warrants have to be a must for interviews.
