oh my god she's so bonny truly beautiful i love poodes we have a minature black poodle called sooty and they are just amazing dogs and a great vid, will you be posting any more? :)
This dog comes to me for grooming - her owner requested the clip.
I may put my Charlie back in a short version like this, and that would be to keep him cool and clean... less hair to deal with. Fortunately he doesn't mat even when not brushed, but I'm hoping he gets many chances to swim this summer (growing-up in the city he never had the opportunity); less hair also means less drying and mud. That's a big part of why the cut originated in the first place - Poodles are a hunting breed.
Because of the work she does and organizations she represents... a relatively short, basic clip will be the main thing for her - short enough to not snag on prickers, but long enough to protect her skin from the underbrush/thorns that we encounter in the Berkshires :)
ohh, that makes alot of sence, i didnt know she was solely search and rescue. i think you said that though in one of your videos about her though. :) very cool.
That poodle is very well behaved. Mine would be trying to play the whole time...

This is soooo stupid, the head of the dog is cut off in the video, cannot see what's happening there at all.

It was something like 5 hours, including bath and dry. Now that the pattern is set the nesxt grooming will be quite a bit faster.
My clippers broke a few days later, and the new pair is so nice - I guess I hadn't realized how bad the old ones were getting, lol.

so, how long did it "really" take you? With it sped up like that, you make it look so easy, LOL!

Harmony, the search dog in-training? Nope. It's unlikely she'll ever be clipped too fancy :)

ya harmony, why do you say that about her?
