That's crazy. I didn't know that. I have a '60 phoenix. I love my car, but God it was a pain to restore. It's a great car. Pretty much done. When I finish I'm going to try and sell it and see how much I can get. Do you have any idea what a 2-dr. Hard top w/ a 361 would go for? The cheapest appraisal I can find is $300...
yeah I know, but see in australia here after the 1962 phoenix they brought out the plymouth fury's and kept calling them the dodge phoenix, so in reality this is a right hand drive plymouth fury for australia. they called it the dodge phoenix, I don't know why.
@stephenjjcarns the phoenix name worked well here in so they kept using it until about 1972 I think, most of them were just the Aussie rebuilds of the same years American 4-door Polara...
it actually sounded good without anyway in real life.. but yeah a good exhaust would be better I suppose..headers would be even better but the car has been sold.
it was bored 30thou over I think? this was a friends car. 1000cfm and it seemed to run fine amazingly. I think an engine like this would only need 750cfm though
Nice semi-hemi, gotta love the dual quads. I run an old Weber 650 on a Wieand "high-rise" intake. I love Poly's, just wish aftermarket parts were easier to come by.
Wow..

It should sound better when the exhausts are connected.

Man oh man i love the dual quads. I always wondered if the dual quad was too much gas for the poly. Did you bore it at all?
