  • @trashthewoman I think it depends on what u r doing. btw sorry if I got your name wrong.

  • You shouldn't let the horse paw like that, it's bad manners for him or her to learn.

  • you dont need a pelham bit and chain unless the horseis seriously strong in the head. id recommend a 4 rig hollow or a dutch bit

    but that is just me

  • my horse dose the same thing with her head rubs up against you ect but only when i put the halter onm "please mum i dont want it on :("

  • do you need the boots and wraps for just riding around a paddock at home ? we might be getting horses, need to learn haha

  • LOL

  • you were once a dummie

  • you dont need spurs.

  • @PetLover4Eva some horse listen better with them

  • cool video

  • @petewentzlover101010 yeah that works the same way as the reigns over their neck. people do and learn things in different ways. If it isn't your way, it doesn't mean it's wrong :)

  • Wow nice barn! where do you ride?

  • Its okay but the tittle is just RUDE it doesnt make you a dummy if u dont know how to do it we have all been at that stage where you dont no how to do it and if youre supose to show them whats right why would u tack up on the wrong side ??? and i dont think its a good idea putting the halter of and just leaving the horse there without anything , i really love your horse though well behaved

  • @JadeeAmberprincess12 Ok its not really that rude. I don't think she really meant to call everyone dummies. But probably only you. Have you never heard of the ''___ for dummies'' books? Its for people who don't know about a certain thing. They're not intentionally calling them stupid. And it doesn't matter which side you tack up from. Its not going to make anything different. And who cares if she takes the halter off. Its not like the horse is going to run away. Its just standing there.

  • ok i dont understand like the title you barely explained anything it was just all music if its for dummies aka rude by the way but for people who dont know how to, dont you think you should of explained where everything went and how to do it? And your suppose to start on the left side when tacking up your horse back also horses can be trainned for both sides too! And you also putted your saddle up way to high, unless you lower it and didn't show it!

  • First of all , your title is increadably rude to people who don't know how to saddle a horse. Secondly thank for calling my friends dummies , I really made THIER day and mine for you saying that ,, and thirdly this is horrible for the people who you call dummies who don't know how do to a saddle on , u didint even explain !

  • actuly you can ride with out a saddle i have laods of times

  • @sitaskye Same :)

  • @LeagacyHunter98 It is a training center. Basically a bunch of trainers of different disciplines and privately owned horses

  • @LeagacyHunter98 No, Antares but the Tad was my first choice. I wanted one really badly!

  • I thought the saddle/girth goes on on the right side to make it easier... Nice video other then that!!! Love the barn!!!

  • @horsesss321 i just go from whatever side i feel like that day. most of the time i just put it on from whatever side im on. I do it pretty much every day so it gets repetitive. I like to change it up

  • @horsesss321 i just go from whatever side i feel like that day. most of the time i just put it on from whatever side im on. I do it pretty much every day so it gets repetitive. I like to change it up

    thanks :)

  • ummm not wearing a saddle is called bareback, not falling off then being trampled....

  • @marshwoodgirl123 *for dummies* would you be able to get on a horse your first time ever riding, canter bareback and bridleless and not fall off? i know i wouldnt be able to!

  • I dont get it

  • what camera do u use???

  • @scorpionsfatality i used a canon something or other. it was blue, handheld camcorder

  • 1:05-1:18 ummmmmmmm, my little pony?? LOL

    i luv it

  • @Jaberwalkie93 thanks :) i love it too

  • The throat latch is to loose

  • @angelina20115 its supposed to be loose so you dont choke your horse and block its airway

  • @angelina20115 ur supposed to be able to fit an entire hand in. its especially important for hunter/ jumpers because we ride our horses in a frame. The more they are collected in the neck, to tighter the throat latch gets as you work

  • how come your horse keeps pawing their front right foot on the ground?

  • @xxmidorifarmerxx he is a goof and just does that.

  • What Movie Maker Do You Use?

  • @dedebear33 imovie '10

  • it is never saft to just take off the halter like that

  • @petewentzlover101010 i trust my horses a little too much, but i am pretty safe about it. reins over the head FIRST

  • @petewentzlover101010 how else was she supposed to get the bridle on? with the reigns over their head, it generally works the same way as a halter.

  • @RidingTemptation noo thats not how i lernt

  • @petewentzlover101010 well.... how did you learn? I just don't see how you'd be able to get a bridle on without taking off the halter. Unless you rode with the halter.

  • @RidingTemptation no you put it around the horses neck soo if it trys to run away you grab that thats just how i learnt

  • @petewentzlover101010 funny i let mine go all the time she doesnt move a inch =] no its not safe for most horses... but my horse is a lazy mare thats not gonna go anywhere unless told to

  • that horse sure is pawing a lot...

  • Hey! I ride with out a saddle or bridle 90% of the time and falling off dosn't happen to me! hahahaha jk jk nice vid!

  • Very random, but.. Hey I'm rand! ;)

  • You do realise you are meant to put the saddle on from the left side?

  • @pridekitten69 does it matter THAT much? its sits in the same place anyway

  • @Luneytoon121 THANK YOU

  • @pridekitten69 i believe i read in a book that sometimes its easier to put the saddle on from he right side. this prevents you walking around the horse from left to right and back to left

  • @ChiliHorseStudios yeah, it is probably proper but i just go from whatever side i feel like that day. most of the time i just put it on from whatever side im on. I do it pretty much every day so it gets repetitive. I like to change it up

  • @pridekitten69 i just go from whatever side i feel like that day. most of the time i just put it on from whatever side im on. I do it pretty much every day so it gets repetitive. I like to change it up

  • @pridekitten69

Traditionally yes you put the saddle on from the left side, but a well broke and well balanced horse can be tacked, mounted, etc from BOTH sides.

I know I have trained my horse on both sides.

  • @pridekitten69 The traditional way to put the saddle on is from the left side, But you can do it either way.

  • @pridekitten69 honestly you can put a saddle on from ither side... getting on tho should be from the left side

  • @pridekitten69 eh, it doesnt really matter xD its all just prefrence, i looked like the way she picked it up it was easier tojust put it on, so she did, i ften do little things like that, just to mess with my horse.

  • @4evercountry101 it was an informative video for a class filled with non-horsey people. I wanted it to be based on horses, but relatable to people who had never had horse experience. It was all for fun.

  • Maybe it's the video, but it looks like the saddle doesn't fit and is too small?

  • @Saartje05 This is my old saddle. The tree fit him perfectly, but I had two very different sized horses and a pony, so it had to be itty bitty. I have since replaced it

  • pretty horse

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 thanks!

  • @myEQlife1106 np., what program do u use?

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 imovie '10

  • how tall is he? mine is 17 4

  • @imadielovinghorses um.. so he is 18 hands? Fedex is a little over 16.2, but he looks really big because i am short

  • @myEQlife1106 Oh, I didnt mean to be rude. But yea he is 18 Hands but wanna know what s weired.? he is an arab paint cross lol

  • It was going really fast so I understood nothing of that ...

  • the only dumb one here is u

  • @MrStabby5395 um? was that really necessary? i'm sorry if you were offended by a video that was made for fun.

  • OHMIGOD! was he munching on th e lead rope?! thats so cutee!!

  • @amsardina11 I love my barn!

  • why does he stand on his toe when you put the bandages on?

  • @ChelsiHorseTricky He is a little bit of a pest and likes to stand however he likes to and wont really stay standing on the foot you are working on. He especially does it with hoof oil! He acts like im hurting him or something

  • YOU MUST BE RICH TO HAVE A FRICKEN BARN THAT BIG AND A ARENA AND 15 HORSES! i am rich but dad likes to save money'

  • @UncleMo101 We try!

  • What a barn!!!! its hugeee!!!

  • @UncleMo101 It definitely doesnt feel like a barn sometimes!

  • I love your saddle pad and polos! :)

  • @iLoveRileyy Thanks :) can you guess my favorite color? haha

  • and what breed is the horse hanoverian thoroughbred???

  • @ferretlova202 No, he is a warmblood

  • what kind of boots do you have on the front and can you show in polo wraps and boots

  • @ferretlova202 The fronts are Heidi boots. They are pretty expensive but you can get cheaper ones from dover (which i would recommend because they get thrashed pretty quickly). They are more of a dressage or turnout type of boot, but i used to use them for jumping. I have shown in these boots and polos for jumpers before. They will do, but i prefer boots like Eskadrons (black) for more appropriate show attire (easier to keep clean too),

  • oh yeah! stablemates!! wooh! lol i loved it!!

  • lol i love stablemates! lol awesome vid!!!!

  • Nice barn! It's big!!!!!!!!! How many horses are there?!?!

  • @iamahorselover123 There are about 30 stalls and that barn has like 15 horses. The back of the barn is an indoor arena (the arena im in when i get on at the end)
