There was definitely no way Jimmy recognized Clark. The running gag throughout the movie was that Jimmy couldn't get a decent shot, and that was his big moment. Had nothing to do with clark's identity and I'm not seeing why you would think it did. Regardless, this movie sucked.
Plus, parallels between Krypton being destroyed and Superman not finding it ('That place was a graveyard, I'm all thats left.') to having to come back to earth and destroy New Krypton to save the planet he grew up on?
kryptonite mountain doesn't bother me. Where you draw the line with Superman's abilities I guess will determine if you can accpet it*shrugs* (at least he doesn't build a wall with lasers from his eyes)and I love the shot back on the Metropolis coast with citizens watching the mountain being lifted - the whole use of silence, I like it :)
No because there is no subtlety or action over words to suggest that Jimmy does know. You are the only person I can think of who has ever come to that conclusion...and I'm a regular on Bluetights with all the Superman nuts and their crazy "Richard is a retired Robin" theories :P
You're wrong...Jimmy doesn't know...the look he gives the camera when he takes the shot of Superman is because he finally got a good picture. It was a cut subplot from the film (watch the jimmy the lush deleted scene)where Jimmy hasn't had a photo published in ages...the "Look up in the sky chief" scene is part of it. So no...Jimmy didn't find out that Clark is Superman. Read the script.

Do the words "I think" and knowing that Singer uses subtlety and action over words mean that Jimmy might know?
