Most of that spending was removed before it even left the house. Other examples were proven false: lies by Fox News and Limbaugh. There should never have been any pork (pelosy is a disgrace), but it's been greatly exagerated.

Either way, I'd rather have condoms than "abstinence only". It's common sense, and if it prevents just 5% of low income pregnancies it pays for itself.

I'll take water parks over Black Water any day. Frisbee parks over no bid contracts to Hellaburton, etc.

A lot of this stimulus is sending checks to people, but what you need to realize is that's just the gov't re-distributing, there is no economic growth, they are just re-arranging the furniture.

Also, a lot of this is unemployment benefits, increases on food stamps, ect. All of those sorts of spending are all good and well, they might help people ride out the recession, but we don't won't people to sit on the sidelines, we want people to go out work, invest, and innovate.
