  • HAHAHAH! I rofl at the end :D

  • does anyone know where to buy this pack

  • Hi, I just got a Xenyx 1622USB and I can't get it to work with the USB. I can get it to work through my head/cabinet but just not the USB. Just wondering if you can help me out. I have a iMac OS X 10.7.2 and I'm using GarageBand'11 . When I do plug the USB in, it is being recognized by the computer...I'm just not able to get it to record through the computer.

Could you help me out? Thanks!

  • Why do people spend so much money?all you need is simple stuff, your brain, your guitar and electrical guitar?

  • gracias me sirvio de mucho acabo de comprar una consola de esas y casi no la puedo conectar bien si no es por este tutorial gracias :)

  • Just got mines last nite didn't knw it came with recording software :-)

  • How much is the package, and where can I buy this in Canada?

  • Where can i buy this ? So it could be shipped out top Puerto Rico?

  • @TheDazeOfOctober we want to help! I just PM'd you information for tech support. :)

  • ..,,And the male end into the first channel of mixer".Giggity!

  • Hi, i am planning on buying a Behringer XENYX USB Mixer. Is the USB function in the mixer capable of only sending a stereo output via USB to the computer or can it also receive a stereo input from the computer for playback during recording. Because here you connect the monitors to the 3.5mm socket output of the computer.

  • @vishwamaggarwal Correct, the intended function of the USB port is to output a stereo mix. :)

  • @vishwamaggarwal It can receive stereo but not at the same time you are recording.

  • Where can you buy this complete package? Best Buy has stopped carrying it.

  • nice haircut

  • take note you all this the right way butt if you cheep about saving money than your music will i know i was like this 5 years than said hell with it one day and started spending than the recording sound more pro

  • thanks Behringer! i got it now!

  • Hi, I was looking into buying a USB Beringher desk. I would be using it to record using logic pro 8. Just wanted to check that the USB would allow me to record each separate channel on the mixer onto it's own unique track on Logic, allowing me to mix everything separately on the computer...?

  • @1234fando Unfortunately our USB mixers output a stereo mix and not individual tracks --more suited to overdubbing than recording a live band.

If you need output of discrete tracks, you'll need a multitrack recorder OR a Firewire interface. We don't QUITE have what you're looking for yet, but when the UFX1604 and the X32 debut in 2012, you may find them very interesting.

  • nice! can i record my guitar with that set?

  • @TechniqueTV You absolutely could!

  • @behringer

    nice thank you! :)

  • How do u install the cd in the MacBook pro?

  • @TheJal18 You should be able to run the disc, once it is in the computer. Are you having a problem with your computer?

  • This may have been answered already, but how can i hear my vocals AND the backing music through my headset???

  • @TracyTimberlake Going to send you a PM with link to customer support so we can help troubleshoot!

  • how much is this for ???? plz tell me i want it so bad !

  • Quick question, can you record onto different channels within the software, for instance, a kick drum in channel one, a snare in channel 2 etc? thanks!

  • @h4rrycl4rk The USB is set up to deliver a stereo mix of what's happening in the mixer. It's great for overdubs, but not so much if you want to multi-track an entire live band.

  • @behringer ah right, what type of mixer should i get to record my drums into Logic then, with them all being on seperate tracks?

  • @h4rrycl4rk The UFX1604 and X32 will be able to record discrete tracks to USB stick or external hard drive when released next year. Cheers!

  • is there a site for to buy him?

  • @DinomicaRecordz If you can't find the USB RECORDING PACK at your favorite online retailer, you might be able to contact them directly to special order it. If you're looking to purchase Ryan, we can't really help you with that. :)

  • @behringer

    okay, but thanks

  • the behringer 1204fx usb mixer... it has 12 inputs, but how many recording enabled outputs does it have.. how many tracks/channels can be recorded at once?

  • @alxnumberone Most USB mixers (Including the 1204FX) output a 2-track stereo mix via USB.

  • tennx .... But I little more informed the problems we ha... in tennx again ...

  • hi i was wondering if this product would work on my windows 7 laptop?

  • @krmusic123 Should work great! :)

  • Hello ... I need some help ... I bought BEHRINGER XENYX 802 mixer and added another with BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA 222 ... The problem is as follows ... I was told that the store CD / tape input and output all comes about all the U-CONTROL ... But my question is why can not record anything?

  • @d3m0nu0fficial DM'd you a link to Tech Support so we can troubleshoot. :)

  • What are the white speakers you have in the background? Are they one of your products?

  • @AnotherDaySound They look pretty similar to our BEHRITONE studio monitors. :)

  • I have a question not strictly related to the recording pack, but does the USB record in stereo, or as many channels as you have inputs? For example, could I record 2 guitars and a bass simultaneously on to individual tracks?

  • @Composer214 The USB outputs a 2-track stereo mix. Cheers :)

  • @behringer

Is this mixer only for microphones? Or can I hook my Midi keyboard too the mixer too?

    Thanks Derek

  • @TechStopReviews Hi Derek! If it can plug into a XLR or a 1/4" TS jack, this mixer can mix it!

  • its not there anymore?

  • Can someone indicate the name of this specific model? This would make a great gift

  • Are you guys still making this? Can't find it anywhere (bestbuy, ebay, etc)...

  • you ever though of donating any of your product to a musician like me????

  • Hi people at behringer, Im at the same situation, I wanted to buy this recording pack at bestbuy.com but it disappeared. I want to know if you are gonna put it back on the market, I hope you do!

that's all for the moment, thanks...

  • what happened to this product? can't find it in bestbuy anymore...It was on sale 2 weeks ago and suddenly it disappeared in the bestbuy site..what could possibly happened? Sold out?

  • @allenwutten I will check in on this. Thanks!

  • I couldnt get real time audio from guitar, any suggestions please?

  • I really want to buy this! Im new to this way of recording (before I used Digital Recorders) Will this mixer support SONAR 8 or Pro Tools? I plan on Upgrading everything eventually, I just like how it gives you pretty much everything but an interface

  • @timcrow420 Thanks man! You'll be able to send info to any DAW that will take in audio via USB. This package is a Best Buy exclusive and can only be purchased from Best Buy. Search the Best Buy website for "Complete Recording Package." Cheers!

  • Boa noite!

Comprei uma mesa de som Behringer 1622 usb 12 canais com efeitos. Liguei a mesa tudo certinho. O violão vai para a caixa e o microfone também. Só que quando aciono os efeitos nada acontece. O que estou fazendo de errado ou não estou fazendo? Algo falta conectar ou preciso de outro equipamento, tipo caixa amplificadora?

    agradeço

    Omar Bento

  • @bigmarc2121 This package is a Best Buy exclusive and can only be purchased from Best Buy. Search the Best Buy website for "Complete Recording Package." Cheers!

  • Hi

Can you please tell me if i can use this mixer with my audio interface??

What is the best way to connect for my bedroom studio please?

  • @yusiphy Run USB out of the mixer straight into the computer, no need for an interface!

  • I am so buying this when I get my paycheck.

Does anyone know how I could go about recording drums? Just various mics placed around my drumset into the mixer?

  • @timcrow420 Hey timcrow420!

There are many acceptable methods to micing drums, largely dependant on how many mics you have. Generally speaking, you will want to close-mic every drum and route each to an individual channel, and use 2 mics over the kit to capture the cymbals in a stereo pattern. There are lots of drum micing tips here on YT, search around!

  • Can you use it with out a computer and just listen

  • @MrStuvross Yes! You would simply need to plug the MS40 speakers into the mixer outputs instead of the computer. You will need an adapter.

  • i bought this package and installed it right but i cant hear nothing out of the monitors any suggestions bro.

  • @DanofromMars The channel from which your outputs are coming in to the monitors, check to see if any of the pre or mute main buttons are pressed in the down position. If that doesn't work visit our main website and go to support, we'll help you over the phone if need be.

  • Do you know how I would use the 1204 for "Live" radio using Nicecast... how do i set it up with my macbook pro?

    Thanks!

  • @ApostleEG Hi! There are likely many acceptable setups depending on what you would like to do. It's difficult to guide you through the setup via YouTube commenting, however. Please contact us via the "Support" tab on our website or over on Facebook and we'll help you out! Thanks!

  • Say I buy the individual X1204USB mixer, can I use it without the computer? In other words, is the USB connection optional?

  • @tsusukicompany Hi! You can still mix a live performance without the computer, but a computer or other recording device will be necessary to record the performance as there is no recording medium or hard drive in the mixer. Hope that answers your question!

  • Say I buy the individual X1204USB mixer, can I use it without the computer? In other words, is the USB connection optional?

  • @tsusukicompany Yes. It supports traditional 1/4-inch output as well.

  • why didn't connect the audio out of pc to mixer and the speakers to the mixer too?

  • @strumTEST That's a perfectly usable setup if that's what you prefer!

  • Behringer can you please tell us how to find it ?

  • @PaganMetal95 This package is a Best Buy exclusive and can only be purchased from Best Buy. Search the Best Buy website for "Complete Recording Package." Cheers!

  • Okay, um my mixer Xenyn1204FX doesn't ACTUALLY come with a USB input in the back of it. there is just nothing there..

  • @Woreyel The XENYX 1204FX is a different mixer than the 1204USB included in this package.

  • i bot this at best buy not to long ago i have 1 question. when i connect everything i tap on the mic to see if it working and the green light don' t turn on i know it not the microphone because i have used it in other types of programs so can u help me?

  • @ValFuentes Troubleshooting audio paths can be tricky, best to contact tech support. YouTube won't let us post links in comments so I will e-mail you the contact info directly! Cheers!

  • i cant find this package anywhere is it still available?

  • @stonesour3366 This package is a Best-Buy exclusive. Search their website for "Complete Recording Package". Cheers!

  • I love this mixer! One question. How would I record vocals in the same room my monitors are in? I don't wanna keep turning on and off the monitors. My monitors are connected via ctrl room out. Thanks

  • @lyricalgza If you don't want to be constantly switching the monitors off/on, I would recommend this: use the Main Mix outputs for your monitors, and then route Alt 3-4 to the headphone/control room. When you want to record vocals, press the "Mute - Alt3/4" button on the tracks you want, and they will be sent to your headphones instead of the monitors. No more feedback problems!

  • I quess my question is, what mixer would be the best to use for recording with a software? Would all you mixer sound the same (I guess the sound quality would come from the software itself)? Would something like XENYX 1204USB be good?

  • @MrMutron Your choice of mixer isn't about sound quality so much as inputs count. Consider how many microphones you will be running at once and choose your mixer accordingly. The 1204USB is a great choice, and is the mixer featured in the above video. Regarding audio quality: it will mainly be determined by the quality of the instruments you are recording, the quality of the mics you are using to record them, and smart microphone placement.

How many signals will you be recording at once?

  • @behringer The most I will be recording at one time would be a drum set. So...5 Mics?

  • @MrMutron Depending on the drum set, yes. Kick, Snare, Hat, and 2 Toms would be 5 mics. Some people like to have 2 overhead mics for cymbals as well. Drums eat up microphone channels very quickly! :D

  • @behringer Understood. I was thinking...Snare, Bass, Two overheads, and maybe one for floor toms / room mic. Also, would you suggest using a B1, B2, Or C1 as Over heads? Or using a small diaphram? I want a warm natural vintage sound.

  • @MrMutron I recommend a pair of C-2's for overheads, and a B-1 or B-2 for room ambiance. The C-2's ship in pairs for exactly this reason.

  • @behringer Would you recommend using a Shock Mount on the Condenser when recording? (I thought you have to). What about a Pop Filter? Also, is there a difference In Sound between this Condenser and USB version condenser? Would you recomend recording with the USB condenser or the way you do it here?

  • @MrMutron While none of your above suggestions are required, they are all good ideas. Pop screens are really only necessary for vocals. The sonic signature of the standard C-1 and the C-1 USB are identical, though the standard C-1's signal will be gently colored by whatever pre-amp you run it through, just like any other condenser mic. I recommend using the mic that works best for your workflow your budget! Are you setting up a home studio?

  • Thanks :D

  • would i be able to have a karaoke version of a certain song on my computer and sing along to it into the mic and will it pick everything up clearly so it sounds professional ?? if you know what i mean :/

  • @aliciah10 I think I understand, and the answer is yes! You would simply play your Karaoke track in software like Audacity, (which is part of this package) and record your vocals right along with it! You will want to listen on headphones while recording instead of through your speakers, to avoid feedback going into your microphone. Cheers!

  • @behringer thanks :)

  • hello! :D can you tell me where i can get this pack?

  • @Gapidrummer The pack is a "Best Buy" exclusive! Search their website for "Complete Recording Package."

  • Hi

If I plug 4 condenser mics into this will I be able to record drums, well I mean will the mixer be able to pick up all the sound going into the four mics and record them?

  • @pedestrianharmright Yep! That's the idea! However, I'd strongly recommend using dynamic mics instead of condenser mics when close-micing drums. Most condenser mics aren't designed to handle the high SPLs associated with close-micing loud instruments like drums and guitar amps. A condenser mic would be OK for drum overheads or a distant room mic. Thanks for checking in!

  • how to connect behinger xenyx2222fx in pc ?????????

  • I JUST RECIEVED THIS. GOT IT ALL CONNECTED. NOW HOW DO I GET SOUND OUT OF MY SPEAKERS(MONITORS). I SEE THE LIGHTS LIGHT UP, BUT CAN'T HEAR NOTHING. AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG? I'M NEW AT THIS SO DONT' KNOW. I WANT TO PLAY MY FLUTE(s) AND RECORD SOME TUNES. I JUST DO NOT HEAR ANYTHING,BUT SEE ALL LIGHTS WORKING. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

  • @1968gmoore try using the usb to monitor button.

  • When using USB connections on recording, will the pc/mac detect the inputs as separate inputs?

I mean, can I record 4 separate different track simultaneously ?

  • @mp3sucker Unfortunately, no. There is a single USB connection, which is a master stereo audio output.

  • @behringer

Well.. then, if i have adat input.. i can use ADA8000 for the same purpose as above? (separate track recording)

  • @mp3sucker Yes, exactly!

  • @behringer Thank you so much.

since the ADA8000 have ADAT in/out, can i double stack them or it has to depends on how many inputs that my ADAT input can support? in this case, I am using EMU1212.

  • @mp3sucker That will depend on the ADAT model. Check with the nice folks at EMU and find out, you're welcome to check in with our tech support team as well!

  • How much is it in Australia

  • @ThePat527 - Hey! This package is a Best Buy Exclusive. Unfortunately they do not ship to Australia. :( If you want to buy the individual components, they should all be available in your region. Get the MS20 Monitor Speakers, the 1204USB mixer, and the C-1 Condenser mic, and you've got the entire package!

  • so im trying to record t hrough windows xp and adobe auditon. I have everything set up...(microphone detecting, being played back through my head phones and my speakers ect ect....ANNND the audio from my computer to play through my mixer speakers) but i cant get my program (adobe audition) to detect my microphone input. Email me with a solution

    sttmnm@aol.com

(and yes i have set up the xenyx usb software package and asio driver)

    thanks :)

  • Micah, I just DMed you contact info. Thanks for checking in!

  • This is far from a perfect setup. I'd say you NEVER want to use a laptops' crummy soundcard for monitoring USB input. And you also will want better speakers. The Behringer MS20's are a far better choice and allow you to monitor the mixer directly. Connect a (small) mixer through the UCA-222 by Behringer, plug the monitor out into the 'monitor' speakers, and record using USB in/out (no latency!). The setup you show her will have latency problems, no doubt about that!

  • multi track recording ?

  • Behringer, how do you set this up so that when you are overdubbing you can here what you are playing and hear the previously recorded tracks while recording?

  • when you can buy it in Europe

  • Great gear, I have the 1204USB and it's great, but there's one important drawback to note: there's seemingly no way, neither through the USB interface, or combination of audio cables, to actually RECORD more than one stereo track simultaneously, so it only records basically what you'd HEAR from the combined channels on the mixer (I figured it was a given assumption, given that it's software/USB oriented, that it would be able to record each channel to a unique track in my DAW, but was wrong)

  • That is what im getting my self for christmas! Ive had the Djx 700 for 7 years it has not failed me. :) so this awesome

  • @djephexx Thanks for supporting us!

  • That is what im getting my self for christmas! Ive had the Djx 700 for 7 years it has not failed me. :) so this awesome

  • Who's selling this?!? I can't find it anywhere!!

  • @DarinMolnar Search BestBuy.com for "Complete Recording Package".

  • If you're using the headphone jack of your computer for output but the mixer for input, is it safe to assume that the mixer doesn't have ASIO drivers for Windows? Otherwise wouldn't you have to use the outputs on the mixer and use it as your output as well?

  • @AllysDad2008 The mixer doesn't require drivers, it features a standard USB connection. Plug-and-play!

  • Comment removed

  • will this work if i hook it up to pro tools le ???thanks

  • cool vid... it looks prety simple... i have just 2 questions... can i use any software to record with the mixer or just with the one that comes with it? can i record separated channels or just direct out?

  • @caesirian You can use any software you like to record the mixer's output. The USB connection on the mixer is a stereo out, not discrete channel outs.

  • @behringer thanks, one more thing... can i use this mixer plus the uca-202 plus any u-control with audio interface and record multiple inputs? it looks like a silly question but i'm new in this thing...

  • Is the C-1u by you guys?

  • @kabascoolr Yes, it is!
