@DoYouFearDeath333 Dracula, according to the edicts of this story, can't come back, but that doesn't mean there aren't other vampires about. And nobody "got rid of " Frankenstein; he's still out there, presumably finding himself a remote spot to live alone; and do recall, he's a good guy.

As for other monsters, there's mummies, swamp creatures, other werebeasts, the Phantom of the Opera, and who knows what else.

Oh yes, and we never actually saw Igor die...

As for Drac, he can't come back because he was destroyed. If he hadn't been, according to the bizarre theology of the movie, Anna and her family would not have made it to Heaven, which they plainly did.

i say this movie is not only for kids..the characters conveyed are from classical literary novels like dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde plus Dracula is derived from a bloody history of the actual prince in Transylvania that killed people brutally.

The music is Van Helsing is just beautiful. Some of the best ive heard to be honest. It's so chilling but makes me want to cry at the same time. Van Helsing has everything the music the great actors/actresses and settings/technology. Twilight has nothing compared to Van Helsing.

Sad but like she said Durlar had taking away everything from her now leaving her along in this world. It would have been nice for Anna and Van Helsing to hook up. But now she's with all her family, friends and others who try to helpher family break the cures. @CianThEfuR I think you're right, the movie woudn't have been that good if the "Happy End" was classical (they lived happily and had a lot of children). But this is a happy end in a way, cause Anna finally joined all her family she had loved and lost.

However the end of the movie always make me cry ^^

I agree the last 30 seconds are great, I like the first 50 or so that take place at the end of the movie a lot too. It's sad music but sounds beautiful if that makes sense. I always think about it in the fall for some reason. Maybe because of the harvest moon, bare trees and cold thats coming. It fits this movie well. Maybe it's just me, but I like to watch this more around Thanksgiving than I would in March. I have wanted this soundtrack for years but have never got it. I will though, some day.

As I said before the movie is best in the Winter when the greenlife is dormant and it's freezing and cloudy outside. This was posted in January! Personally I like it best around Thanksgiving, when I put up Christmas lights. I know that sounds weird, but the first time I saw it was Thanksgiving 04, and I've loved it since. I always want to watch it around that time, but sadly haven't since. Every year I watch it always ends up being in July or August like this year. I must get it done this time!

Yeah, this is one of those movies that the first time I watched it I knew it would always be one of my favorite films. Its the only vampire movie that stands out over the others in my opinion. The Underworld films are great too, but nothing like this. Classic characters, modern action and hottness. Kate is great :)

Yeah. The Arc Angel Gabrielle. Except, books tell us that Gabrielle was the messenger. If the movie was in close proximity to angel stories as well then they should have picked the name Mykel, as he's the angle which guards the gates of heaven (he's the action angel). Love this movie and soundtrack. End is sad but also makes you feel good as he's accomplished what he set out to do. =)
