  • How do you know where to place the traps?

  • how he didint escape?

  • let me guess if your going to make a trap you need a traping liceince right..... i really what to make a VERY easy trap for squeels but i dont have a licince...

  • what are the measurements for the trap

  • how long should you leave the trap?

  • nice will have to try that out

  • If you sold a pheasant you'd be done by plod, you need a game license.

  • Nice rambo, what did you do with it??

  • how much is a pheasant worth if u sold it ?

  • djrees77 where dou live?

  • great man 5* trap like it same \m/

  • how long u come back to check

  • @truongluu53 a rule of thumb is check during sun-up and sun-down

  • Thank you dude! As soon as i take hunting license i wont need to buy a gun to hunt down those delicous animals!

  • great live capture trap...I think I'll try that on some chooks

  • rezult

  • Wow, that was a very nice catch. and the trap worked obviously well.

  • mate that is awsome ,would you cosider joining jacksshed forum? we love stuff like that!

  • quick discussion

-you raised the trap quite enough, looks like it is standing at a 60 degree angle. i used to think it is best to have it as low as possible, for it will reach the ground faster once triggered.

-the frame doesen't seem to be heavy at all. is there any chance that the bird will simply lift up the trap by putting it's head underneath the frame?

  • how does the trap trigger?

  • I enjoyed the video

  • WOW! Sweet trap.

I`ve got a field behind my house and it has loads of pheasants running a round.

Lets face its free food or you could sell it!

  • @djrees77 you could only sell it if you could prove that they were pen raised, hard to do without getting a pen set up with some, maybe catch and raise?

  • nicley done...pheasants are funny...

  • Realy good work man! Is there anyway you could upload a vid of how to make it and how to make the trigger?? thanks :)

  • if u left the net notted like that wont it come un done

  • nah just double the last knots ok

  • @johnjayrambo11111 malc, nice traps and videos mate, but i have a problem. where i come from i do traps , but noting gets caught, what kin of places should i try bird traps for example.

  • @johnjayrambo11111 nice ....very nice pheasant did you let it go or eat

  • how do you set the trigger like that mine dosnt work my foods missing all the time bet never works????plz tell me how to do that

  • hey how did you finish the bottom of the net you made on your vid "how to make a net"

  • i just left it as is

  • nice catch i have lots of pheasent running around my house what would be the most affective trap to use????

  • this one

  • nice one.

  • I like the way you made the trap using chicken wire! Now for the $64,000 question....How did it taste?

  • well friend i,m having it for my christmas dinner but i know its gonna taste lovely .

    malc

  • great catch

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmm dinner time

  • yay ur bak i was wundering were u went nice job, that pheasent went ape shit when u aproached it

  • That's one pissed off pheasant, but a good stew non the less........enjoy dinner!

  • good on ya mate

  • Good one Malc :-)

  • Great job! That trigger set is very sensitive and easy to make. It was cool to see how much that trap jumped when you approached. For larger birds you could wire a rock or two to make it heavier. It would be a real drag to have a pheasant flip it as you approach.

  • Glad to have you back! Looks like a good meal to me! 5*

  • Nice to see you putting up videos again, been following them close and getting some great information. I appreciate you taking the time to share.

  • good to see you Malc ! Nice trap :-)

  • 1. did u eat it?

    2. if you did, how did you kill it? neck break?

3, what naturally could you use in place of chicken wire.. basicly something a machine dosent make or u cant find in the woods.

  • There are many vids with cage made of sticks and string.
