let me guess if your going to make a trap you need a traping liceince right..... i really what to make a VERY easy trap for squeels but i dont have a licince...
-you raised the trap quite enough, looks like it is standing at a 60 degree angle. i used to think it is best to have it as low as possible, for it will reach the ground faster once triggered.
-the frame doesen't seem to be heavy at all. is there any chance that the bird will simply lift up the trap by putting it's head underneath the frame?
@djrees77 you could only sell it if you could prove that they were pen raised, hard to do without getting a pen set up with some, maybe catch and raise?
@johnjayrambo11111 malc, nice traps and videos mate, but i have a problem. where i come from i do traps , but noting gets caught, what kin of places should i try bird traps for example.
Great job! That trigger set is very sensitive and easy to make. It was cool to see how much that trap jumped when you approached. For larger birds you could wire a rock or two to make it heavier. It would be a real drag to have a pheasant flip it as you approach.
You never know for sure. I didn't think I had any where I lived until i saw one last summer. You should look it up and find out if you have some around your area
After spending 90 days in Buck's toughest adult detention facility for violating some of PETA's most stringent animal laws, Malc is back with a vengence! Trapping like never before!
