  • Seen the "Beat club" version of Teacher ? A1 sound and vid qual and a much more serious Ian.

  • @twostrokeornill1 Sounds great, will go see it!

  • This is version 1 of Teacher and was only released on CD on the "20 Years Of Jethro Tull" box set. Americans are more used to hearing version 2 with the flute playing that was released on the "Benefit" album.

  • Is he drugged? What a stupid question, huh? kkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @TheNightwalker1985 He doesn't do drugs its just a stage act

  • @SRNF I think he 'did' do drugs but not these days.

  • @HitMeWithIt No he was strict about not doing drugs. He just has a stage character. It is well known that he never liked or wanted to join in on any drug taking by his band members. I remember an interviewer asked him why he never used it. He just he never had the *need* too. Pretty cool for a rockstar.

  • @SRNF Really? That is cool for anyone I'd say!

Thanks for that education mate :)

  • Was at a Tull concert, and he's pointing to this guy with a camera in the front row. And Ian's all "Oy, Give it to me, give it to me" (people are thinking oh man, he's gonna make a scene out of this guy).

Lines the band up backs to the crowd, and takes a picture with everyone's tongues hanging out. Gives the camera back.

    Funny shit

  • Found this band two days ago, never heard of them before.

    Now i'm hooked. :)

  • @Jezuswashere Great band. Never got to see them live though. "Living in the Past", "Aqualung", "Thick As A Brick" some of their best albums.

  • @Jezuswashere Wow, that's cool! I've been listening to them since Aqualung, which I suppose came out when I was still in my teens (I'm 56 now). Keep searching, my friend. You'll find a veritable treasure trove of the best music ever from back in the day ('60's - mid'70's, in my opinion. Then the world went freaking disco on me, the ass-----es).

  • @Dogheadj Haha yes I couldn't agree more except that I am SO MUCH younger than you :) that I only discovered this type of music when I went to stay with a friend at his parents' house and found them to be like hippies from the Woodstock film ! They were great people, very relaxed. Smoked weed all day yet worked hard too...anyway the evenings were great. Talking and music, every night. Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Hendrix of course, King Crimson, Canterbury Scene bands.. oh the good ol days..

  • when i was impressionable

    there was no video

    just the song

    just the song

and what a song it is

  • this is the UK / single mix...it can be found on the 2001 remastered CD.

  • Yikes! Where are you finding these treasures? Awesome. Thanks.

  • Where's his flute?

  • Great video. Jethro Tull are so professional when it comes to live performance, an ability sadly often lacking with many other bands. Have seen them 4 times over the last 35 years and they have always, in true style, left me wanting more.

  • Where can I get this version on CD?!?

  • @warriors6411 The music only you mean...?

  • Yes, but this version.

  • @warriors6411 I could always find the DVD I ripped for you and extract the audio from it for this song. It will be better than this mp3 youtube version but I cant remember if its really much better quality or not.

Gimme a few days ok. I'll message you ;)

  • @warriors6411 This is the ORIGINAL UK SINGLE Version of the song. It was on the 20 years of Tull Boxset.

  • @warriors6411 i have this track :)

  • When seeing this video it's hard to believe the fact that Ian Anderson never did drugs :-))

  • thi is the best video of this song that I've seen.thanks!

  • Cool.
