@konman1 the difference in shogun is his opponent. Vs. Coleman, Griffin 1 & Jones he wasnt able to knock them out early & they forced Rua into a grueling grind of a fight. Vs. Liddell, Machida 2, Griffin 2 it ended inside the opening round, he didn't even looked that good against FG, Griffin just looked worse. Machida 1 is the exception because for the most part it was a striking bout which isnt as taxing as the other fights. if u look at where Dan fits in its with the 1st set of fighters.
Tom Lawler really? Weidman should be fighting someone in top 10 already hes that good unless his knee buckles again i dont see lawler beating him. wow
Kung Le will have to win early to win this the longer it goes the more wanderlei favors i just dont see Wand getting KTFO again. Kungs been out to long and coming to the UFC to fight Wand is a big deal
Faber is to strong and durable for Bowles and one thing i noticed about Bowles as he hasnt been improving

Weidman hasnt faced a fighter with solid MMA wrestling yet. if he cant get lawlor down this fight, as his name implies will turn into a brawl and i dont trust a relatively new to mma fighter that hasnt been tagged before. Lawlor is a vet and pays, with a far better chance then the odds show.
Weidmans got tagged good last fight with a solid head kick i believe and showed resilience when his knee seem to buckle it could have gone real bad for him last fight but he got Jesse out asap. Another factor to consider is a year long layoff Lawlor has taken from fighting. Lets not forget Aaron Simpson is 38 years old and lost by Split decision.

the thing with shogun is he has been looking slow lately even in the forrest griffin fight he looked slow....Every fighter always seems to know the H bomb is coming yet they always get caught by it. I think its funny on some mma threads that people are saying shogun will win by (T)KO yet hendo has never been KO'd and is known to have an iron chin. I don't see a slow shogun being the first to do it
@eLLriDe420 he is a young stud no doubt but lawlor persents something that he hasnt faced in his young mma career. a solid wrestler, with power and a willingness to brawl. if Weidman can get him down and keeop him there 100% different story, but until that happens I worry about his ability to take a punch.

You overrated Weidmans wrestling a lot and you forgot to mention Kampmann arguably beat Shields and Diego in controversial losses. Cung Le is a Cali State Wrestling Champion, and has fantastic wrestling and Sanshou throws that are legendary, great takedown offense and defense. Besides that, I think you did a really good job, much better than the last one I watched. Keep it going, get a better backround. :P
@TreyMMA i dont know if i overated Weidman that much he is a all american wrestler with wins over ryan Bader & Phil Davis, and he uses it in the cage well. Le might be a champion wrestler but he only has 1 fight where he completed multiple takedowns so its only so relevant, i did mention his throws & TDD. im not worried about what the final outcome of the fights were with Kampmann instead how he dealt with those styles & how it relates to his next fight. constructive criticism, i like it
@TreyMMA Kampman has the tools to win like he did against sanchez and shields but his strategy of late seems to fall short. I doubt he will be tko ed, I rekon it may be the same again another fight he could have won but didnt, that is unless he starts fighting a bit smarter. One of my favourite fighters though, would love to see him get a title shot.
@CaptainInsano999 I think the problem is, Story is a lot bigger and stronger than Sanchez, and he wont gas like Shields did. I agree Kampmann is a lot better than he's shown us, even though I thought he was robbed against Sanchez. Should be a great fight I just see it being an edged decision in a good fight by Storys wrestling.

I have my own prediction Gilbert Melendez is very big and strong for that weight class,he will be the champion when he comes over to the Ufc.
