If you've heard Rowan respond to what some of called, the 'Islamization of the UK', the Archbishop says it's christian to love your enemies and to respect them. We are all made to be cooperative and live in the spirit of that. The Archbishop is a wise man and wouldn't condone attacking, verbally or physically a member of the Islamic faith.

I believe he has misinterpreted the "woman at the well" story. To drink of the Living Water, which springs up into eternal life, is to do the WILL of God ! A true believer in Jesus Christ MUST follow Christ instead of the lusts of this world. Being "born again" is to always drink of the Living Water, that is to allow Jesus to totally change them. You can only become a new creature in Christ as man will always fail on his own.

Halo, The Anglican Church is a wonderful and rewarding place to grow in faith. My only recommendation is to research your diocese as that has a large affect on the teachings of the churches within it.
