I love the Eragon book. However I heard the Eragon movie is awful.

It is. They literally only used 1 / 3 of the book's content, they cut out several characters that are important in the next book, Angela was badly done, Solembum wasn't even part of the movie, Teirm was never explored, and Murtagh's identity was given 30 seconds of screen time. It was a train wreck set on fire and then dropped off a cliff. That's how bad it was. lol

I actually liked that one, and at the time the book was my favorite of the Harry Potters. But I can see what you mean. It wasn't one of the best adaptions.
