kada bih opisivala šta u meni pokreće kada slušam "molitvu" na srpskom, to bi upravo bila ova priča ispričana na engleskom. i sama sam prevodilac, i baš se pitam koliko bi meni pošlo za rukom da prenesem o čemu ova pjesma u stvari govori. problem vjerovatno leži u prečestom insistiranju na pojmu "molitva" i stavljanju u strogo religijski kontekst. treba doživjeti dušu koja žudi,i božanstvo ili sudbinu koja drži karte u rukama. aj lajk.

Okay. Molitva IS prayer BUT, you can't sing "Prayer" in rythme. they tried to translate as good as possible and the translate, is, for me, very good. You can't translate all the song exactly. It's impossible. So, Destiny is a good translate! I love this song and marija is the best!

This is her official English studio version of the song, just dubbed over the 2007 Eurovision performance. A lot of people will change the words to their songs to translate better over to English.

Thank you for posting this. I can now see how much better the original Serbian version is. Šerifović sings flawlessly in English, even though the words are different than the original meaning of the song.
