I lived in Calgary for 3 years and they really must get out more, travel the world and put their insular lives into perspective.
They should:
Stop talking in cliches. This has become a national obsession.
Leave horses alone.
Realise that cowboys are for children's story books.
Begin to behave like a modern nation rather than a lame reflection of the USA.
Hats, boots, trucks and beer are now a sad joke, not a culture.
