Amazing video. I understand why you love trains, as much as I love the Boeing 747s in flight. I love how you introduced the music to make your film more exciting. Great footage!. Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME video!! You really did a great job of filming this, how did you keep the camera so still while you were driving? I just love the mountain scenery.
@3p47L I was the wheel man, I had my brother filming most of it. And yes, the Columbia Gorge is top-notch scenery, can't wait till 4449's next Wishram trips on July 2-3. We've been putting in a lot of hours getting ready for this year's trips, they'll be my first mainline trips since i started volunteering at Brooklyn Roundhouse.
your so lucky you got to pace her. we tried to but we got stuck behind a caravan of other chasers and a bunch of logging trucks. all we got to chase was the cali zepher tail car.
Yeah chasing in the gorge gets pretty hairy on the WA side. The return trip in october , we were the ONLY car pacing from White Salmon to Carson. Just us, a beautiful fall evening, a convertible and a Daylight at track speed:-) Can't really beat that.
damn! I drove through the gorge on the 3rd when this was filmed, and had no clue it was going through. Wish I hadn't of missed it. Looks like its on the washington side, right were I went.
Appreciate your efforts in jockeying for the most hotley contended streches of roadway America at that particular moment in time, it was about the same in Montana & North Dakota
Fantastic Video!! Love the scenery. You did a GREAT job!!!

The Ecstasy of Gold? Are you kidding me? What an awesome song to begin this video. The spaghetti westerns are classics.
