Money wise, you can't be the GH1. The 7D has me very interested now, mostly the lens selection. Do you disable the resample in vegas? This footage looks identical to mine when I leave the resample enabled. Good stuff, wish we had zombie kickball here further up the coast in Nova Scotia!

Did you shoot 720p or 1080? If 1080, what did you edit with?

Hi,

At that time I was shooting 720p 60FPS all of the time. Now I shoot most things at 1080p 24FPS.

I have been using Vegas for all my work. I use additional tools in some cases to convert footage. I use both Shedworx VoltaicHD and Cineform Neoscene.

More and more I use Neoscene most of the time. In either case I have an older PC and laptop (about 2 years old) and in both cases after running the footage through Neoscene I can do realtime editing with scrubbing in Vegas at 1080p.

It does slow down once I start adding effects but I think that should be expected to some degree on an older machine. Over all I am really happy with the GH1. I now have a Canon 7D as well and I use them together all the time.
