its not supposed to have loud base for safety. If you are running and the bass is loud you can't hear background noises which can pose a potential threat.

my powerbeats have been left untouched for quite some time now, for music i'm using my awesome investment of sennheiser HD800s. love those, but quite expensive.

anyway if you want durable sweat resistant sport headphones go for the sennheiser, they don't sound quite as good as powerbeats but they are much more durablr

Just bought these from Best Buy and bought the 2 year protection plan just in case they get damaged at the gym. The sound quality is great however the control talk buttons are not as nice as the ones on the Beats Solo HD.

I bought mine at Amazon. They sounded really good, but the durability is absolutely poor. I had to bring it in to an electrician so he can splice it back at the tip (wiring inside got severed by strain)(when pulling the cord out from your player grab the fat rubber ring wrapping the cord). Since he had to tape it back up, now it dubiously looks like it's fake. After getting it back, the sound remains great, but the controls aren't working now. It makes me wonder if the fakes would be a bargain.

Thats some good stuff, i got them in red, but i had to return them twice, first because my dog done sth with the cable, he didnt done anything to them outside (weird), they just stopped playing, i think it was sth with the cable, and the second time i got some low-quality ones, which sounded really awful. But i got the third pair, and its as good as the first pair b4 the dog got to them. Theyre really comfortable, and the vocals are just unable to describe. :D
