Most are running oversize tyres, a few in that vid on 35s. Going much bigger than this on the Rover axle needs uprated axles (uprated shafts, stronger locking diffs which all cost £) to take the torque needed to turn the bigger tyres - bigger tyres also affect the gearing. Another solution is portal axles (e.g. Unimog or Volvo 303) which also gets round the strength problem.
nice video. looks like people go to all that effort of modding there trucks (cutting them down, bob tailing) and they dont fit larger tires to get some more ground clearance??? or is it just an optical illusion through you tube??
