i usually play with the russians and am getting too good to play against moderatate. but every time i play in hard i lose almost instantly. i see that you have about 100 villagers, my max is usually about 40-50, do you think that if i doubled my villagers i would make it? and when should i make all of these villagers? i dont play with treaties so i get attacked straight away

@DarkMage2601 Replying to dark mages question, you just do the infantry train faster upgrade in the church, and in the home city cards, there are 2 infantry train faster cards, i think they are called duelling school or fencing school. Put all 3 together and infantry units spawn instantly.

I do this in treaty, my friend tried it in non treaty, I ran him totally out of rescources in like 5 minutes I had 5 heavy cannons and like 50 cassadors. He would only make musks and I owned him.

Sure, it's different for all nations, again there are basic principles that you have to use:

1 - Don't waste your time on treasures.

2 - Get to the third age as fast as possible with the resources to build more town centers and be able to crank out villagers constantly.

3 - Only get military cards that give you bonuses and not troops unless you're rushing.

4 - Get every economic upgrade and military units that apply to the units you use.

5 - MOST IMPORTANT - MAKE WALLS BEFORE THE TREATY BEGINS!!

Food treasures are good, but only in helping to get to the colonial age.

That will come a while from now since I'm still trying to do 1 vs 7 with all nations. So far it's only been done with the Russians, Japanese, and French. Doing these videos come slow since I have a lot of school and work to do, not to mention I have a horrible upload speed.

The only secret to this game is are basic principles of war. Develop an economy that can support a good military. Strike as early as you can, as hard as you can, and do it the most effective was possible.

There is a card in the Asian Dynasties Expansion Pack Called "TEAM Dueling School", this with "Fencing School" and the church infantry speed upgrade give me an instantaneous infantry (except strelets).
