@theme542 Yes, It is a lot brighter. I don't know why Chauvet uses a black backdrop when they make product videos... It makes the lights seem a lot dimmer then they actually are.

I actually think Chauvet could do better on the whole vue series. The Revo series from ADJ is far better and much brighter than these. Nothing against Chauvet, but i would suggest they use brighter LEDs.

just bought one of these, and now the bloody motor doesnt spin. still a great light without the spin, but the closest chauvet dealer to me is 2000 miles away, africa is a bitch!

I picked mine up yesterday. Its linkable with the vue 1 and vue 2! This is a big bonus. I wasn't expecting that.

djsonnyking...what are you talking about man? Chauvet was the first to do this. ADJ's "revo" is a rip off of the Vue. I saw one of these things at my local store, and it kicks ass. Sure the video doesn't do justice, but, Chauvet is the one leading, ADJ is following. I'm sure they will have a copy of the MiniSpot any day now.

This is true, they inovate while adj seems to follow. One thing about most of the company video are they usually don't show the lights full potential. I wouldn't have bought a vue 3 because of the company video but the other youtube videos made it look awesome. Now I get more compliments on that light than any other I've ever had.

There all based on Chinese made lighting but, its good for us that there is competition, I have a vue 2 that i really like, but also a revo 3 which is fab. I have had no contact withChavet but ADJ guys have been friendly and helpful, which as a working DJ we need...right?

WTF are you talking about stupid....first of all...the only video you have posted shows some lame highschool dance gig using CHAUVET fixtures.

Secondly...you obviously know absolutely nothing about lighting (Pro or DJ...and there's a big difference). You call the vue 2and 3 "pars" in your video description..outing yourself as a moron. I hate dopes that comment on sh*t and have no f-ing idea wtf they are talking about. Learn something first stupid...then comment on it!!!

Its not that ADJ is blowing their doors off, its just that Chauvet beat them to the punch and did it right. ADJ is catching up slowly but surely, but none the less, catching up.
