  • I don't care about the Deans connector. What I am peed about is the I have 2 5000mah 6s 22.2v Lipo's with 5.5mm Bullet connectors on them that are factory installed. Now I can't charge these batteries on this SkyCharger! What is the solution? Is there an adapter or what charger comes with the size and type of connection that I need. I read also that the SkyCharger can't even handle the 5000mah 6s 22.2v battery .

    Thank you

  • @Lenny7118 - The solution is to either solder on New Connectors or Make your own. And the Skycharger will charge those batteries just fine but you won't be able to charge them higher then 2 Amps because the charger is only 50 Watts.

  • I have the same charger it didn't come with the deans connector.

Now how am I suppose to charge a 5000 mah 6s 22.2 v lipo with 5.5mm bullet connectors on it that came that way from the factory. I'm not changing the connectors on the battery . So what is the solution ( buying another freaking charger? Gezzz

  • @Lenny7118 - These days NO battery chargers come with Deans connectors so buying a new charger won't do you any good, This vid was made at a time that chargers did come with deans connectors. You're just gonna have to change the original connectors, no way around it.

  • mine did come with deans connector charging lead :(

  • THANK YOU! as others could not figure this out from the directions but this video saved me.

  • Soo... For a 800 mAh 3cell battery, I use 0.8 Amps?

  • thx a lot

  • Nice video, very helpful. thank you!

  • Very well explained! Nice vid.

  • Very timely review! I actually had both this and the TP AC6 in my shopping cart at Xheli last night, comparing the differences and seeking reviews. Yours is the first review for the SkyCharger I've seen. I was leaning toward this one due to the extras it comes with when compared to the Thunder Power unit. Thanks for the preview!

  • Hmmmm...looks and sounds just like the Thunder AC6. I guess there are a lot of clones out there. Imax, Turnigy, Thunder....the list goes on. Did you notice any differences between this and the AC6?
