  • actually there is a limit.. i cant go pass 25 PLEASE help

  • tnx man

  • You life saver you.

  • Matsalam..

  • Thanks a LOT! :D

  • Thank!!!

  • Thank you !

  • Seriously, first u state you can do as many times as you like. WRONG, it only does about 20-40 by default and u can set it up to 60.

Then, u say another interesting thing, that u dont know why the ppl at adobe made it this way. Well, cause it takes virtual space just to run it, imagine if u pulled an unlimited number of undos.

  • You're a lifesaver!

  • ♠♠ Youpi....Thx man,,,thx a lot....That for sure..its help me a lot ♥ All the time i just suck in photoshop to know how to undo like this. ♠♠

  • thanks dude!! yeah its work on mac as well.

  • u just saved my project thank you!!!!!!!!

  • TY!

  • thanks dude!

  • thanx man great video!!!

  • But I heard you can up the limit to how many times you can undo, it doesn't let you undo all of your lines and since I draw with a tablet I make a lot of little lines all the time and it sucks when I can't undo them

  • @RainbowRusbTv Yeah there is a way where you can set it to undo a lot more of times. However that's going to be in a bit more complex tutorial than this one.

  • @RainbowRushTv Go to menu: Edit -> Preferences -> Performance:

Then simply change the "History States" to a higher number.

  • awesome tip

  • tbh i found this out like 2 minutes after using ps

  • yeah , but still it don't delete all lines, if u have more than 19 lines =p

if someone know how UNDO 20+ lines let me know ;)

  • To undo as many time as you want you need to (on a windows system) open CS4 PS select edit > preferences > performance, when the performance dialog box opens in the to right hand corner you'll see "history and cache" the changing the number in the box will tell PS how many undos that you want. Remember the more undos that you set the more memory that it uses because each version of the file is saved to your computer.

  • @speye57 oh god thank you so much :D

    this helped ;)

  • @ToomasKedrov I believe if you use your history, just go up to the windows tab and select it if it isn't already visibles in your palettes on the right. This way you can undo in a more informed fashion especially useful when retouching and making changes in very small increments.

  • @speye57 That's a good one too, I'll have to check that out. If it works I'll make a video down the line on it , and I'll say I got the info from you.

  • @DavinDaGeek Excellent! =)

  • nice Davin :)

  • @iGiveTuts Thanks man. =D

  • Oh wow, I didn't know that! Thanks for the video

  • @Esinololly No problem lolly. =)

  • You could also go to edit and click step backwards as many times as you want too.

  • @hvillin Ahh, but this way is quicker, and a lot of people want this method, however they don't know how to do it.

  • @DavinDaGeek True.
