i miss turning on the t.v. and switching it to shows like rugrats, lizzie mcguire, as told by ginger, powerpuff girls, etc. now i have noticed that every one of the stars from most of the shows can sing. and every movie disney or any other kids station makes now are mainly musical. i am 19 years old and still wish my favorite kid shows from my childhood still played.

This song was an EAR WORM to me; whenever I'd watch this special I'd wind up singing this song for hours straight, unable to get it out of my head. I wonder if the SpongeBob writers were psychic, because they did a similar SpongeBob episode where the same thing happens to him (it's even called "Ear Worm!") I get so nostalgic and emotional hearing this. I remember when this episode came out and I was so excited to see all of the Rugrats gang grown up. I remember going to my cousin's house to watch this episode together. We were all so excited to see Tommy with hair! When it came on, we literally slid down the stairs with our pillows, ran to the TV, pressed the record button on the VHS(remember those?), and screamed out of excitement when we saw it while eating our popsicles we got from the ice cream truck after a long day of playing outside =)
