  • can someone tell me what the background music was called in this i've been looking everywhere !!

  • @MsToxicgirl101 It's called "This is Gallifrey" It's one the most amazing Doctor Who songs. There are many versions on YouTube, including one together with "Vale Decem" -Farewell Ten-. The best live version was uploaded in the channel of "courney359." look it up.

  • @MsToxicgirl101 Sorry. that was "courtney359"

  • @BarbarianMichael ok i'll go and look it up ^^

  • SO. I'm still in high school, and I've only ever really seen the rebooted series. After listening to all the Doctors talk about gallifrey as a far-gone paradise, it was just freaky going back a bit and seeing other time lords

  • ...They also putted me on trial at least 3 times, tried to kill me 4 and send me alone to fight armies of daleks and cybermen. Also, my favorite teacher toyed with my first 5 incarnations.

But I'm trying to remember only the best.

  • love that clip

  • How come on every single video, no matter the subject, people are arguing about racism?

  • that music gives me goosebumps every time... =)

  • @diehippie9000 I'm not offended you were just explaining the Doctor who to someone you thought was doctor who ignorant

  • @diehippie9000 I meant all three types. He said some go crazy, some become inspired and some ran away and looked back. That's what I'm referring to. Only an idiot wouldn't know there have been 11 doctors.

  • solitude...did he say solitude THAT IS FROM SKYRIM XD

  • @jojo110367 Actually it was broadcast before Skyrim had even been announced.

  • Oh! I was the one that runaway! i never stop!

so on gallifrey the term running away means to travel the universe being a hyper-badass, going mad means becoming a Mega-evil mastermind who tries to take over worlds, and being normal means force to living a stale life....no wonder the Doctor runaway!:-D

  • For a Time Lord wouldn't 8 yrs old be like a baby?

  • Some would get chief ceded acid by friends

  • "Some will be inspired, some will run away, and some will go mad." And some will do all three, eh Doctor?

  • Before you start saying how much you love Tennant, and how it will never be the same, I hope have watched all the other Nine Doctors, then, and only then, can you say who is your favorite.

  • @Denarpsaurus Agreed, but I do so love David Tennant, and he's easily my favourite Doctor. And then, of course, is the fourth Doctor! Haha.

  • @Denarpsaurus At last, someone who says what I've been saying all this time. These Nuvians like to dismiss 26 years of DW but still say that Tennant was the best out of all of them, when they only really know Tennant. The reason so many people like Tennant is because they haven't seen the original ones & Eccleston was only in 1 season. The funny thing is when compared to the others Tennant is easily the worst Doctor.

  • @LegoDaleks I think I love you. FINALLY! Somebody who understands! It's really horrible how so many people just pretend that all those classic series years didn't happen, and yet still have the nerve to call themselves TRUE Doctor Who fans. The only doctors they have actually experienced are the 9, 10 and 11, so how would they know who the best doctors are? It's no challenge, The Fourth Doctor beats all!

  • @Denarpsaurus ...I thought I found a cool, like-minded Whovian friend, but seeing that you subscribed to someone who makes despicable vids about "white pride" I'm going to have to shun you. Shame.

  • @LegoDaleks You are kidding? I'd like to start, there is nothing wrong with being proud about your race (in the video, he actually doesn't diss any other races), but as we aren't really talking about that, I'd also like to point out that person is my cousin, and THAT is the true reason for subscribing. Come on mate, all pals here :)

  • @Denarpsaurus Nothing wrong with pride? He's got a plainly visible f*cking Nazi flag hanging in the background. Anything wrong with the Nazi-pride? If there's so little wrong with his pride why is he so ashamed of his pride/opinion that he covers up his "pride" (he covers his face & disguises his voice)?

There's no such thing as race. Teach him some genealogy & have him travel the world a bit.

Let him sleep with his sister then if he's so protective of "his" "race".

    Sorry,but that's too racist

  • @LegoDaleks He's also my best friend, I don't care what his views are.

'There's no such thing as race?' Go away.

  • @Denarpsaurus I'm sure Hitler had his loyal friends as well. Learn something about History, preferably about WW2 before you start defending it.

Yes, there's no such thing as race. You don't think otherwise? I suppose ethnic cleansing should be reintroduced. And NO, YOU GO AWAY.

  • @LegoDaleks So, according to you, there is absoulty no difference what so ever, between a black man, and a white man? There is, they are different colours! Did you notice? And you know what, before you say it, what I just said wasn't even racist. I was just mentioning race, I wasn't saying anything bad about it. Look pal, I'm having a good day, if you have a problam, take it up with him, not me, he's really the expert on this stuff.

  • @Denarpsaurus See, this is what you racists don't understand. Racism is about grouping people together not singling them out. So the differences had nothing to do with it. Acknowledging race means you group certain people together, not point out the differences. Everyone is an individual/different.

He's an expert on it? Is he also an expert on the Nazi's? You are standing by & being protective of some1 who is proud to wave the Nazi flag - that's just as bad as being as the guy who is waving it.

  • @LegoDaleks Since you really want to get into it, race is a result of our ancestors evolving in different enviroments, which produces different variants spread across the planet. Yes, people are individuals, but belong to a race, just as I do, just as you do. There's nothing wrong with that at all.

He's my cousin, and family sticks together. I may not, hell I don't agree with a lot of the stuff he says, but I try to look past that, admitably its difficult.

  • @Denarpsaurus People have a natural tendency to want to categories & group things/people together. So these people make up that there are different races & they give all these races names, but most people aren't "pure" anything. I know enough about my background to know that I do not belong to any other race other than the human race. Love or pride of one thing can easily translate into hatred of another, any argument against that is not really helped by that Nazi flag.

  • @LegoDaleks Sure, your telling me that there isn't actually a difference between people, and its our imagination? Well then, if theres not a difference between people, maybe theres not a difference between people and animals! All of us, people, lizards, timelords, badgers, all belong to one speices, called 'Animals!, isn't that right? No, its not, but that is a different verson of the words you just said.

  • @Denarpsaurus

Ignore LegoDaleks. He's an insufferable little asshole.

  • @purplebananafish You totally got that insult from me - well, the insufferable part anyway. Good job, you're almost as unoriginal as Steven Muppet.

  • @Denarpsaurus Are you REALLY that thick? I'll explain it again, read carefully this time. It's NOT about the differences, there are differences between EVERYone/every individual. Racism & race classification is grouping a load of people together. Like they did in Nu-hu with low-life Mickey & PHD Martha, neither of whom had anything in common with the other -oh know wait - these completely opposite people are apparently in the same ethnic group and have been paired off due to racism.

  • @LegoDaleks Yes, they do belong in the same ethnic group, because they are black, or did you miss that? That doesn't mean they should be treated any differently, everybody gets treated the same. Okay? Now leave me alone you tiresome cretin, I'm sure you have LOADS of more arguements going at this same time.

  • @Denarpsaurus What IS "black"? It's just another label, but not one you can choose, it is given to you from birth. It is an obsolete label in this day & age. Who do you call "black"? Do you use the KKK's 1 drop rule? Why doesn't 1 drop of "white" blood make U "white"? Educate yourself.

I do have other arguments, but this is the most ridiculous one. There's nothing you can say that will absolve you from subbing a guy who does vids with the Nazi flag as a positive symbol in the background.

  • @LegoDaleks No, its a colour you fool.

  • @Denarpsaurus Most people referred to as "black" people aren't the colour black, if you hand't noticed. So it isn't a descriptive term. It's more derogatory than anything. No one can be black or white, there are no absolutes, everyone is an in-between. The same goes for many labels, even gender. But if you can't comprehend a world that isn't racist I hardly think that you will be able to grasp a non-sexist world.

I'm the fool? Okay, be a good example & gas some jewish children with your cousin.

  • @LegoDaleks Brown then, Happy?

  • @LegoDaleks

    lol Godwin's Law

  • @purplebananafish Actually, my argument with him started out with me calling him a Nazi.

  • @LegoDaleks No... they were paired off because they wanted to pair a couple off; couldn't use Rose (other universe), couldn't use the doctor (he's the doctor), couldn't use Donna (mind wiped), couldn't use Jack (gay), and so that left Martha and Mickey by default. They're also in the best position to get together as they're both in Torchwood for a time.

It's Dawsons Creek all over again. You can't kill off the trio, can't kill the only gay character; so Jenn by default.

  • @rpottage Good lame excuse. It's base & sexist to just randomly having to pair people off for no reason. Mickey & Martha Have nothing in common. NOTHING! But people look at their skin colour & say: "that fits". If they had been two "white" people, then viewers would be like: "but they're like opposites"

Nu-hu is sexist & racist, even though people today like to claim otherwise. You hardly have to analyse it at all to see it.

  • Comment removed

  • @LegoDaleks No, it's called shipping. The fact that you know nothing about shipping, television, fandom, racism, or sexism is rather pathetic.

And as to your white comment: Clark/Lana, Clark/Lois, Chloe/Oliver, Lana/Lex, Martha/ Lionel, etc. (Smallville)

    Buffy/Angel, Buffy/Spike, Angel/Cordy, Angel/Nina, Cordy/Xander, Cordy/Gru, Darla/Angel, Gunn/Fred, Xander/Anya, Wes/Lilah, Spike/Harmony, Doyle/Cordy, etc.

It's the opposites that are interesting. (Buffy - Angel)

  • @rpottage Sorry, I never watched Smallville or Buffy - see I'm not as pathetic as you think. Those are American dramas, 'American' in this case being synonymous with 'crap'.

  • @LegoDaleks The fact that you don't watch any mainstream television at all is actually more pathetic, nor does it take away from the point. The fact that you know nothing about mainstream television and worldwide marketting like Shipping is sad. But since you're apparently so xenophobic I can only use british examples:

    Othello/Desdemona, Romeo/Juliet, Doctor/Rose, Doctor/Martha, Doctor/Donna (last of his kind, i.e. not too many like him), Harry/Cho, Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Annie Mitchell..

  • @LegoDaleks Arthur Dent Trillian, Zaphod Trillian, Arthur Gwen, Helen/Stephen, Helen/Nick, Nick/Claudia, (pretty much Primeval in general), Also pretty much all of Robin Hood.

It's in most programs, if not all of them. You don't set up two people who are perfect for each other because it's freaking boring. There's no conflict, no drama. That's why Riley left the Buffy TVS, that's why Sam and Jack got together instead of Sam and Daniel, that's why Watson loses Mary.

  • @rpottage Robin Hood & Primeval are on par with sh!t like Nu-hu. If you hadn't noticed Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a comedy, so it relishes in opposite characters put in the same space.

Okay, I'm sure Mickey & Martha have loads of conflicts & are not boring & deserve their own spin-off show. But their story is over. When it says the end & they lived happily ever after, that's the boring bit that never gets told. Why should a story that never gets told be full of conflict & drama?

  • @LegoDaleks Which all basically says that you wanted to call this racist without any understanding of it. When they pair them up it's shipping, fandom; and it fits the narrative which is that this is his reward. Finding out that Martha is pregnant and alone, while Donna is hopped up on drugs isn't a reward. It's supposed to be a happy ending, which contrasts with the Doctor's sad death. It's called television; that's how they work.

  • @rpottage I didn't want to call it racist. It actually IS racist. I just have a higher expectation of television than you do. One can tell from your base TV-diet that you have infinitely low expectations & are very easily impressed.

They don't fit, their story ended a long time ago, so randomly showing them together for a couple of seconds in a story that doesn't feature them smacks of fan fiction, soap opera trite. It is also base, sexist & racist. A good television programme is not that.

  • @LegoDaleks No, it's not. You don't understand what racist is; but it's not Dr. Who.

As for my tv-diet here's a sample of it over the years: 10 things I hate about you, 3rd rock from the sun...

  • @LegoDaleks No, it's not. You don't understand what racist is; but it's not Dr. Who.

As for my tv-diet here's a sample of it over the years: 10 things I hate about you, 3rd rock from the sun...

  • @rpottage No, YOU are the one who clearly doesn't know what the definition of racist is. ReTarD obviously put them together cuz they supposedly both belong to the same ethnic group - that's racist.

  • @LegoDaleks 6teen, 8 simple rules, According to Jim, The Addams family, (practically all disney/family shows as well as all superhero shows), Andromeda, Angel, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica...

  • @rpottage Why do you insist on proving my point? The list is endless. It would be easier for you to list the shows you dislike.

  • @LegoDaleks Yes, it's endless because shows pair opposites together for ratings.

The fact that you think The Cosby Show is racist for being black (that's what you're saying) is pathetic.

  • @rpottage I never said that The Cosby Show was racist, you microcephalic apostate.

  • @LegoDaleks Baywatch, Beastmaster, Bewitched, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, Boston Legal, Boy Meets World, The Brady Bunch, Buffy, The Cape, Charmed, Chuck, Corner Gas, The Cosby Show, CSI (All),

  • @LegoDaleks Dawsons Creek, Dead Like Me, Degressi, Dr. Who, Dr. Quinn, The Drew Carey Show, Due South, Earth Final Conflict, Everwood, Family Matters, Farscape, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Fringe

  • @LegoDaleks Full House, Futurama, George Lopez Show, Gilligans Island, Happy Days, Heroes, Home Improvement, House, How I met your mother, I dream of Jeannie, The Jeffersons, Jack of All Trades,

  • @LegoDaleks Jericho, Just Shoot me, The King of Queens, Law and Order (All), Lois and Clark, Lost, Mad About You, Magnum P.I., Malcolm in the Middle, Merlin, Mutant X, My Wife and Kids, Star Trek- all

  • @LegoDaleks etc. etc. etc. I have seen MANY MANY shows over the years, and they all use that form of conflict.

And before you say American Trash Again- that's racist and Xenophobic.

  • @rpottage Saying 'American trash' isn't racist. How many more times do you what to prove that you don't know the definition of racist? It's not xenophobic (not capitalised) either.

ReTarD didn't randomly show that Marth & Mickey ended up together because of all the drama & conflict they would experience off-screen. He put them together because they have the same skin colour - that's racist.

How did that long list of shows prove anything? And make one long comment, not loads of short ones.

  • @LegoDaleks You're judging an entire people, assuming Americans can only produce trash. That is racist. It's not really a surprise, just like I'm not surprised you'd be so ignorant to use the word "retard".

And we already went over why he paired them (I.E. Donna memory wiped, Doctor dying, Rose other universe, Jack gay, Sarah old, etc.)

BTW, you're making yourself look idiotic and giving the British a bad name; I don't think all British people are as racist and ignorant as you though.

  • @rpottage I never said that Americans can only produce trash & even if I had, that still wouldn't be racist.

'ReTarD' is a way of saying his initials whilst also being descriptive. It's shorter to write than: soap opera-loving, sex-obsessed, TV-obsessed, ignorant, incompetent, talentless, tyrannical, fat-headed freak with a self-inflated ego.

Why pair them after their stories ended at the end of a story that didn't feature them? In your head every1 needs to be paired off.

    I'm not British.

  • @LegoDaleks Actually you did and it is; and it's a way of being ignorant with a childish insult.

I already explained why they were paired off. It's actually rather pathetic that you refuse to pay enough attention to even remember that. And I'm not surprised you're not British; did they kick you out for ignorance? It's probably something like that, they just got too tired of listening to your ignorant racist ramblings.

Run along and bitch at every other show for Season finale surprises.

  • @rpottage Actually I didn't.

If I'm not British, how could "they" kick me out for being ignorant? Did that even make sense to you? Calm down & think before you respond.

M&M were randomly paired off because ReTarD's love of soaps makes him pair people off; he likes bringing back old, dead characters; he likes to progress his characters over time (simply by changing their relationship statuses - base), all his female characters have to be in love (sexism); M&M are the same colour (racism).

  • @LegoDaleks Based on your extreme xenophobia, ignorance towards racismand sexism, and inability to understand satire; yeah it lends credibility to you being kicked out for ignorance.

  • @rpottage If I had been "kicked out" then I'd still be British, but I'm not British & I never was. We've already established that YOU are the one who doesn't know the definition of racism, since you said that saying: "American trash" (which I never said) is racist.

I never said anything xenophobic. I said programmes like Nu-hu are crap, how is that xenophobic?

Of course I understand satire, most of my vids are satire.

  • @LegoDaleks No, you clearly don't know Satire at all. Anyone who knew anything about Satire, would understand the Satire in saying you were kicked out of The United Kingdom for Ignorance.

As for your racist xenophobia; I don't control what you call Americans or their quality of programing. But for the record, profiling an entire group of people based on a few (I.E. calling all American Programing trash) is racist, and Xenophobic when it's towards foreigners. (Protip: Racist =/= shipping)

  • @rpottage I never grouped all Americans together & I never said that all American programmes are trash. If I had said all American programmes are trash, that wouldn't have anything to do with Americans as people and even if I had grouped all Americans together then that still wouldn't be racist, since Americans are not a race, they are a nation.

Are you merely feigning ignorance? Or is that more of your ludicrous "satire"?

  • @LegoDaleks From the U.N. "the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction, or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin"

Yeah, racism includes discrimination based on national origin. Just because you don't understand racism, doesn't mean you're not being racist.

And what you did was ad hom television shows by saying "'American' in this case being synonymous with 'crap'."

That ad hom on a nation is caled racism as per the U.N.

  • @rpottage Saying:"'American in this case being synonymous with 'crap'" isn't racist. It is widely accepted that descriptive words like: 'Americanised' is an insult to the thing being described. It is negative to say that something that is not American, like DW, is American/Americanised. I didn't say anything about Americans (the people). Repeat: I was never talking about the people of America.

You would have the basis of an argument if I had said "Americans are dumb". But I didn't, so you don't.

  • @LegoDaleks All a matter of subjectivity, and one I'd have to heartily disagree upon. I've seen all the Doctors, all of them. And I'd have to say Tennant is easily my favourite. Followed closely by Tom Baker. What's with this pissing contest, anyway? You're making yourself look like just as much of a jackass (Read: Moron) as everybody else.

  • @Burnyoursins Seeing a couple of clip shows of the other Doctor's doesn't mean you've seen all the Doctor's tenures. You are a Nuvian. Only Nuvians prefer the teenage, cartoon Casanova who wields a magic wand to the REAL Doctors.

  • @LegoDaleks A few clip shows? Hahaha. Seriously making yourself look like a moron here. I don't have to defend my opinion. I prefer the acting, I prefer the emotion, all of these things are MY preferences. Get off your high horse, buddy. I appreciate all the old Doctors, and all of those episodes, that doesn't mean I have to dislike the new stuff. ;)

  • "Which one were you"

    "Oh I never stopped running!"

    Sooooooo epic!!!!!!!!!!

  • Martha's been watching EastEnders...

  • @TheAfroThunder1 So has the Doctor, he quotes it in The Impossible Planet or the Satan Pit. It seems he watches loads 20th/21st century British TV. The originals used to read literature. Who says British TV has dumbed-down?

  • @LegoDaleks So because he reffrenced them, it means he watched them... Wow... You are a little girl trying to get attention by posting horoble videos to make crude points. Go ahead and express your opinon, but don't comment on my comments saying things like "Steven Moffat is a bad writer, and so is RTD. How dare you like it, you disgust me", or something as stupid as that. And check Doctor Who before making rash statements. Goodbye now!

  • @TheAfroThunder1 He actually quotes an actual line from East Enders - it seems I notice more detail than you about Nu-hu. So if anyone is making rash statements about something they don't know enough about, it's you.

"How dare you like it, you disgust me"

I never say anything like that.

  • @LegoDaleks 1. I said "SOMETHING like "How dare you like it, you disgust me".

    2. He says "This is gonna' be the best Christmas Walford ever had.". He never said any lines from EastEnders, he referred the actual show.

    3. So, you watch Series 1 of Doctor Who, and you think "This is rubbish, never watching it again", but somehow you've watched The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit.

    4. Check your history again, Lego.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 I watched series 2 as well because I thought that Eccleston was the problem - I was wrong. My history?

"This is gonna' be the best Christmas Walford ever had." from that line & from the context he put it in, it was clear that he must have watched it many times. Don't pretend to be too stupid to realise that.

  • @LegoDaleks Wow... Saying the actor in the problem is... Well... Stupid.

It's a long running joke that Christmas in EastEnders is depressing/humourless, and EastEnders is one of the most famous TV shows on English TV, so you'd think a 903/1103 year old Time Lord who spends most his time on Earth would of heard of EastEnders.

Do you realise how stupid you were saying that?

  • @TheAfroThunder1 He used to quote famous literature now he quotes TV shows. That East Enders quote is not famous, not as famous as some of the literature quotes he's said. That is part of the dumbing-down of British television, which is what I originally said. He used to read books, now he watches TV. You have to actually watch that stupid programme to say that quote. Why are you pretending that it makes sense for an alien who never watches TV to say that?

  • @LegoDaleks 1. Its not a quote OFF OF EastEnders, its a phrase that referenced to EastEnders.

    2. Again I will say, do you honestly think a person who is 1106 years old has never watched TV, or heard of the programs on it?

    3. He still quotes books, and plays. He just references TV as well, as he did back in the old series.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 1. It is a quote OFF OF the TV & not from literature which was my point, you insufferable incompetent.

  • @LegoDaleks Also, "many times"? You only have to heard of Christmas on EastEnders to know its unlucky to say something like that, like "I'm SO not going to crash my car" or "I'm SO not pregnant", because its a long myth that you say something is not going to happen, it makes it happen, and vice-a-versa (Like the Doctor did by saying that "This is going to be the best Christmas Walford ever had"). And watching TV doesn't make you dumb.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 Stop being an idiot! If he heard the damn thing only once why on Earth would he quote it?

I said that the Dr quoting TV shows instead of literature like he used to is just proof of the dumbing-down of British television. I didn't say: "Watching TV makes you dumb." Is it really that hard for you to comprehend?

  • @LegoDaleks ARE YOU WATCHING PORN WHILE YOU READ MY COMMENTS!!! ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS!!! You are obviously not reading my comments through, and for that reason I'm not going to carry on this pointless conversation. You use the same points over and over again. I make new points, you use the same "He doesn't read any more" argument. I've provided about 3 different reasons, whereas you say it over again. Pay attention in future, you f**king retard.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 Stop raising your blood-pressure over nothing. You are the one not paying attention, that is why you were under the delusion that I said that watching TV makes you dumb.

  • Gallifrey was and is just simply fantastic

  • When I look back I think that overall this has been the best series of new Who so far. Series 3 had loads of brilliant scenes just like this one.

  • While all the Doctor's are the same person, they are different people. Has anyone ever wondered how things would have turned out if different Doctor's were there at different points in time.

  • I'm still wading through season three, and once David goes, I will have nothing to live for.

  • @pinklavigne231 Give Matt Smith a chance. You may not find him as good as David (I did), but he IS brilliant

  • @daleksvscybermen This doesn't mean that I don't like Matt; I actually think he's really entertaining. But David was my favorite, and I'll be honest, I'm more than a little bit in love with the Tenth Doctor. Finished End of Time last night, btw. Bawled like a little girl. I'm gonna miss him terribly.

  • @pinklavigne231 You ARE a little girl.

  • @LegoDaleks Oi! I am not! Some of us are just more dedicated than others, LEGODALEKS! (BTW, Daleks? Really? WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON?!?!)

  • @pinklavigne231 Dudette, you're a fan girl. Enjoy it while it lasts, you guys tend to be incredibly fickle.

More dedicated fans like myself are real Whovians who don't ignore the first 26 years of the show.

  • @LegoDaleks Hmmm, touche. I haven't taken the time to look at the first 26 years. But I'm not fickle. Doctor Who is the best show on the planet. I'll be a Whovian till the day I die. (And afterwards, probably. Do they have BBC Wales in the afterlife?) I finished watching all the seasons that are out, and now I'm going back to the ninth Doctor and watching them all from the beginning like I promised.

  • @pinklavigne231 Going back to the "beginning" by starting with the ninth Doctor? The fact that he's the ninth means there were eight before him. You are not a Whovian, just a Nuvian.

  • @LegoDaleks NewWhovian. Take it or leave it. I'm still just as dedicated to the new Doctor Who as any other Whovian is. And, I won't say it again, will be until I die. And, as aforementioned, yet to be determined. Possibly after. Your point?

  • @pinklavigne231 No, you are only dedicated to the 2005-present series. Real Whovians don't ignore 26 years of DW & call 2005 "the beginning". You are simply a Nuvian. Nuvians are fans of Nu-hu & don't necessarily care to see any of the regional stuff. Comprehend?

  • @LegoDaleks First, I admitted to being a New Whovian, not an ACTUAL Whovian, if you like. Second, I was introduced to the show with the ninth Doctor. Third, if we're splitting hairs, then I am just as dedicated to the ninth through eleventh incarnations of the Doctor as any Whovian is to all the rest. Is that clear enough for you? Also, I can't help but notice that you've engaged several viewers of this video in serious and rather vicious debates. I'm not the first. Interesting.

  • @pinklavigne231 No, not new Whovian - that just means you're new to the game. Nuvian is someone who is exclusively a fan of Nu-hu, excluding DW.

Splitting hairs? You said the beginning was the ninth Doctor, how is saying that there were eight guys before him, splitting hairs?

Your "dedication" to only Nu-hu, I never doubted it, so why do you keep going on about it? Is it cuz you're actually not as dedicated to 11 as 10 maybe?

Vicious debates? Just one other guy, who's defending a Nazi vid.

  • @LegoDaleks Okay, define "Nazi vid?" And sorry, but you DID call me a little girl. And, wow, you've got quite a history on this video. Fascinating. (And the only reason I didn't use "Nuvian" is because 1) it's spelled funny, and I prefer proper spelling, and 2) any one of my friends would agree that we are, in fact, Whovians.) And I'm not more dedicated to any of the new Doctors than the others, I'm just a bit more fond of them. They're all fantastic, brilliant, cool, take your pick.

  • @pinklavigne231 There's a guy who did a racist Nazi vid bla bla ba.

Any on of your friend s would be mistaken. As I have already made clear, a real Whovian doesn't ignore 26 years of DW. Only real Nuvians do that. Talk about "funny" spelling, what about the spelling of 'Whovian'?

Put another way: Whovians are more "dedicated" to DW (63-89) & Nuvians are more "dedicated" to Nu-hu (2005-present).

  • @LegoDaleks Um, I could be wrong, but I've counted about three different scuffles that you have started or been involved in. On this video alone. As you claim, I'm not a REAL Whovian. And the spelling of "Whovian" actually has the word "Who" in it, as in "Doctor Who." Nu-hu would make that "The Nu Doctor Hu." I'm sorry, I just don't see that happening. Whatever. A Whovian's a Whovian, that's all there is to it. No years, no difference. I don't care what you say.

  • @pinklavigne231 Ignoring 26 years of the show means you aren't a Whovian, period.

  • You know what i love? This is how Susan describes Galifray too

  • these people sure knew how to name their shit

  • I think the doctor is an odd mix of all three. He went a bit mad which inspired him and then he ran and never looked back.

  • makes you feel like a kid at story time, hanging on to every word :)

  • PAWS OFF DAVID TENNANT HE'S ENGAGGED TO THE WOMAN WHO PLAYS HIS GENETICALLY MADE DAUGHTER

  • The Doctor stole a second from this video. There's no 1:59.

  • 0:16 oh shit she's gonna find out were loverzzzz

  • This video makes me kinda sad.. because it was before DT's regeneration.

  • 0:10 "...secret brother or something."

    the Doctor's face: O__o

  • i wish they made a prequel showing either the time war or just events on galafrai

  • @tedindahouse they did, its called ALL the seasons before the reboot!

  • @tedindahouse There are a lot of old Doctor Who episodes (60s, 70s) where the Doctor was on Gallifrey. I don't know how much of the planet they show because I haven't seen all of the episodes but it will give you an idea of how the Time Lords were.

  • And what about you?

Oh! The ones that ran away! I never stopped.

So, shall we redifine running away as totally being the biggest badass in the univers?

  • @michio2013 Well after "A Good Man Goes to War." Colonel Runaway made it look pretty wussy

  • @michio2013 And we shall start by spelling it univers.

  • My daughter is 12 and she is OBSESSED with Dr. Who. She's even gonna' be Rose Tyler(?)for Halloween!

  • as beautiful as the planet sounds it's society did seem to be dangerously authoritarian.

  • @DobbyKing1 Let's not get started with Rassilion either. He's the one who got revived and decided to try and exterminate time itself. .. And everything's named after him.

  • The Doctor ran, and always runs.

  • @esubadog rly? i was thinking all 3

  • @esubadog @_@ what no he actually stopped running once (He died)

Always remember On the fields of Trenzalore, at the fall of the Eleventh, when no living creature may speak falsely or fail to give answer, a question will be asked. A question that must never, ever be answered

  • This was an unfortunate undermining of the Master. No longer was he the ultimate villain in full control of his faculties. Suddenly he was just another lunatic driven mad by childhood trauma.

  • @Flinklehurst Actually, if you watch on, you know, the special where the 10th regenerated, you'd find out that the Timelord Council were the ones that implanted the drums into the Master's mind.

  • @Evowizard25 How did that make it better?

  • If the Master heard drums, do you think that the Doctor had the urge to run or something?

  • OMGGGGGG!!!! Is he eating jelly babies!!!!????

  • @Euginedes0130 no hes eating chips

  • @ClaireluvsDT But it would be awsome if it were jelly babies =(

  • Gallifrey was beautiful yes it was but the time lords were absolutely douchebags. The Master and the rest that´s nothing.

  • for a supposedly entightened race why take children away from their families at such a young age. seems like something only a primitiveculture such as the spartans would do.one would think that the timelords would have learned the error of their ways from such examples.

makes me think that the producers just thought this one up, thought it was agood idea, and did not properly vet it out before incorporating it into the show.

c'mon this kind of contradicts wiht the idea of noble/wise timelords

  • @SpockBorg5 I see you point but rly think about it. Your a Time Lord, we've all seen what the Doctor and the Master can do. That's just 2 Time Lords, I dnt wanna think of a whole race just as good/bad and reckless at the same time. So they take you early like the jedi and train you because if you wanted to good/bad reasons. You could end up killing everything. It's always been the greater the potential the strictly the discipline.

  • @XxHyoga87xX kind of conflicts with ep State of Decay in which the doctor clearly describes having a childhood and i don't think he was descibing the time before he was 8

  • @SpockBorg5 well, yes, IF this clip was the only basis on which we judged Time Lords. In actuality, were cruel and barbaric, willing to stoop to horrendous levels to win a bloody war. That's why the Doctor had to destroy them. But he likes to remember them well, because it's all he's got of his childhood. You get a clearer picture of what the Time Lords were really like in "The End of Time." Hope I wasn't being a snob for that long contradiction, I'm just really fascinated by Time Lord society:)

  • if i understand the reasons behind the doctor's self imposed exile from gallifrey there was some sort of social/political turmoil that resulted in the deaths of the doctor's entire family save one, his GRANDDAUGHTER, and he stole the tardis

and escaped the planet with her.

  • @SpockBorg5 he stole the TARDIS and the TARDIS stole him so i don't know what that counts as

  • @TheArthasmenethril you're taking that line too literally, and plus i cite the episode Silver Nemesis

  • @TheArthasmenethril a symbiotic relationship. ;-)

  • I just recently watched this part at a friends house for the first time, and I just felt so happy.

  • Master went mad, Doctor run away...there is still one more, who would be inspired?

  • @revmary GIR Became a robot, Problem solved, the G stands for Galefray

  • @WolfiePro1 Well, GIR is bigger on the inside. Though decidedly lacking in working parts, so he's more of a broken down TARDIS if anything.

  • @Godzilla1704 Yep, still a Galefray In-intellegence Robot

  • @revmary We met many of the Doctor's other former Classmates in the classic Series (They're sadly all dead now :( ),you might apply it to some of them. Besides the Master, we met a guy called Runcible who was some sort of Gallifreyan news reporter, a bubbly guy named Drax who was on the same tech course as the Doctor and some sort of slightly annoying buddy of his and then there's the most popular one of them, a female classmate of his who was also a renegade and went by the alias of "The Rani"

  • @revmary She was, judging by certain remarks in the first episode she appears in, something like the highschool crush of the Doctor and the Master XD "Inspired" might suit her in the sense that she became a mad scientist. There is one hilarious episode where she and the Master grudgingly team up to get rid of the Doctor so she could conduct her unethical experiments in peace - which, of course, didn't work. The Master tries to flirt with her throughout the serial, but epicly fails XD

  • I love how the Doctor starts talking about Gallifrey while eating fish and chips!

    Brilliant scene.

  • @Godtryan Yeah i'm British but i think he was only eating chips... lol.

  • @oOCaptainCrazyOo Yeah, that's true. lol!

  • season three is my fav and the best. season four is just as good but it must be earned you have to watch seasons 1 - 3.

  • The Doctor is the most balla'-ass nigga' ever. I'm talking about the Tennant Doctor. Not the Matt Smith Doctor, he doesn't even register on the balla'-meter.

  • I like how the revival shows the Ninth and Tenth Doctors speaking so well of the Time Lords as they remember the best of what was lost, when in fact the Time Lords were indeed "decadent, degenerate, and rotten to the core." The War Games, The Five Doctors, Trial of a Time Lord all made it clear that Galifreyan society--not just rogue individuals like the Master, the War Chief, the Rani, the Valeyard, Omega or Borusa--was easily corruptible. Then of course it all comes out in The End of Time.
