that one person who disliked this is obviously deaf!!! it sounds like butterflies, blue skies, families and summer!!! <3 beautiful piece of music!! :)
@bavwill Well I think interpretation of music is personal!! :P This really touches me, it reminds me of my Nana and yeah......respect your opinion though!! :)
For most irish people this song will be familiar from the famous bank of ireland advert from the year 2000. The hay days of the banks some might say although in fairness to the banks, they always contributed hugely to art and music in ireland. Credit where credit is due. no pun intended

Enchanting. Thank you Michael! This music was used as the sound track to a radio documentary on the writer David Thomson and his reknowned book - a memoir/irish history /love story - 'Woodbrook.' The podcast is also on the web. Highly recommended.
I also would like to know which church this is? Any ideas?
@kekekekatie Try Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, and also J S Bach's 2nd movement (Largo ma non tanto) of the Concerto for two violins in D mInor.
Tá sé seo go h-iontach.

The tempo in this version is just a shade too fast. I've just listened to another version on Newstalk 106 FM and it was even nicer!

One of the most beautiful!
Anyone who loves this - could you recommend anything similar to this style?
I love Michael Nyman and also Lark Ascending, but I don't know many non-boring classical music pieces, so any recommendations are welcome...
