  • great setup and execution

  • un capolavoro del migliore di sempre

  • the v10 is better but the v8 sucks

  • it was all calculated...the move schumi is the best

  • Alonso is good, but Schummacer was better.

  • Schumi was better, but Senna was the best.

  • Senna was the best but, but, Senna was the best.

  • These are the most dumb commentators ever, thinking Michael slides out of the corner, he was planning this all the way. everybody knows that. only I asume this Americans are not, because the are not used to overtake outside the line, guess what idiot, F1 are real racing cars, not made from plastic with a big 8.0L V8 with 120 BHP.

  • This.

    This was the Golden Era.

  • This was the golden era? Ugh...no it wasnt. Neither of Alonsos championships were exciting to watch because he had them all but wrapped up by the last gp. The cars were underpowered v8s, traction control made the cars easy, overtaking was almost non-existent and a lot of the great tracks were gone or sanitised. I dont think there was even a Belgian GP in 2006.

How on earth were these the golden years? The 80s were the golden era and the late 90s and Mikas championships were great as well.

  • Now, see, that's Your opinion. I grew up watching Schumacher advance and bag all the trophies, so to me, those were the best years.

You go talk to someone who's been keeping up with F1 since 1950 and that person may say the 50's were the best years with Fangio.

    So, relax.

  • I grew up watching Schumacher too but there is no way anyone in their right mind would claim the years between 2001-2006 were the glory years of F1. The cars aerodynamics didnt allow much overtaking, grooved tyres, narrow cars, the FIA trying to stop all innovation by the teams, privateer teams dying out almost completely, traction control/launch control making the races incredibly predictable.

Thats not what F1 is about.

  • Even Fisichella is better than Alonso. Alonso was just a lucker with his Renault in 2005 and 2006. The next Champions will be Hamilton, Raikoennen, Masse, Kubica and Vettel if he gets a good car. Alonso has no chance!

And Schumi will be the best for ever!

  • PAM! Take that Fernando.

  • schumi is the master

  • another possible title:

    Driving lesson on wet

    :D

  • hahahahaha alonso didn't even know lol

  • Michael es mejor que alonso

    Michael is better than alonso

    GO BODE GO

  • GRANDE MICHAEL!

  • do u knw that honda always used to favour senna over prost do you know they used to give him the more(slighty even makes a little difference)powerful engine to senna!ron admitted in an interview!its all facts!

you dont know nothing! barrichello didnt decide after US gp it was after schumis move in monaco on him that made him ask todt&to leave!

& about images- read patrese' interview it was expected from people like SENNA to do this so stop hating on schumi!

u should get YOUR facts right!

  • people simply forget that Alonso wasn't driving a car this day... he was driving a TORTOISE. He made his pit-stop, and the team put TWO DIFFERENT TYPES of tyres...

when he back again to the pit-stop, and modified the tyres, he made impressive laps, like almost a second faster than Schumy!

He come back like 30 secs behind him, and finished just 3!!!!!!

It was the day that, even not winning, Alonso proved that he could/would/should double champion.

  • dont get me wrong alonso is a very good driver. I just dont think he is amzingly fast. He's very consistent and makes very, very few mistakes. And remember he was racing a 37 year old michael schumacher who was well past his peak yet still was the best driver on the grid. I dont think Alonso would stand a chance against the schumacher of 1995-2003 when he was really at his peak in terms of performance. And that shouldnt be taken as disrespecting alonso.

  • and how can you say that Michael would've beaten the Senna 1988-1991?

    Or the Fangio 1954-57?

    Or the Clark 1963-65?

    here, we are not ficcionists.

  • I didnt say that. There is no way of knowing how two drivers of different eras would compete. Senna however was still at his peak/close to it when he raced against schumacher who was not yet at his peak. just like schumacher was still at his peak in 2003 or very close to it at least while alonso wasnt yet at his.

And alonso has shown his bad side. Brake testing a guy heavily for accidental blocking in practice is petulence of the highest order.

  • El Fonzo just got owned

  • Jeez, so many suckers that believe they know everything about F1.

Nice overtaking indeed, on a crippled Renault of Alonso. Sigh ...

Like someone said before, as soon as Alonso got trouble free tires he was a second per lap faster that schumi..

  • Michael es mejor que alonso

    Michael is better then alonso

    go bode go

  • michael...the best driver of all time :)

  • Jajaja, con ese adelantamiento demostro CLARAMENTE, que es el mejor piloto de F1 del mundo, AHI LO TENES ALONSO!

  • perfect overtaking!

  • "you do not tell that Raikkonen is a good pilot but does not take care of the mechanics".....

Raikkonen takes care about his team, his car.

And Alonso; he isn't as good as his team-mate but he says "...is cheating! Nobody cares me in this team!"

şimdi anladın mı aralarındaki farkı beyinsiz herif?

  • That is why schumacher was so good. He did things like that so often...

  • alonsoooooo ananı sikim

  • The only advancement that Shumacher did to Alonso in the whole championship. Alonso made him three or four.

    Alonso I retire Shumacher.

    Magic Alonso I number 1

  • Alonso passed him a few times in 2005 when the Ferrari was terrible and the Renault was a class act on the Michelins. Schumacher never stood a chance in that car. Alonso is a lucky driver. Won in 2005 because his car was more reliable than Raikkonens and he won in 2006 because Michaels car failed in Japan and because of the Rascasse incident lost him a load of points. Schuey is a far superior driver.

  • Your you do not tell that Raikkonen is a good pilot but does not take care of the mechanics in the careers because of it lose. Neither you tell that in 2006, in stalls, a nut and abandon put Alonso badly, or also I sanction the maFIA 10 positions in qualification because I hinder Massa (new injustice of maFIA).

Shumi is very good and also very crooked. Magic Alonso is a phenomenon, is the successor of Senna. With a shit of car, 2 championship of the world

  • I know english isnt your language but that was very hard to understand. Alonso came (equal) second in the championship in the best car. Overall the McLaren was the best car this year. Alonso is not the successor to senna. If anything Raikkonen is because of his speed over 1 lap. Alonso reminds me of prost a lot more than Senna.

  • You admits him that Mclaren and Ron Dennis has done many traps to Alonso, everything better(best) of the car has been for Hamilton (good pilot), they have ill-treated to Alson.

For 2008, in Renault or Red Bull, Alonso was demonstrating his your genius, your magic, your personality and he was creating a champion car.And in 2009 course to Ferrari.

    I'm sorry,my english is a bad But I believe that I am understood.Magic Alonso number 1

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Forgotten about Malaysia, Italy and China?

  • facts 1: Schumacher CHEATED in Monaco; Schumacher MADE A MISTAKE in Australia; Schumacher MADE OTHER MISTAKE in Turkey.

--> Schumacher HIMSELF lost, at least, 12 points...

facts 2: Renault MADE A MISTAKE in China pit-stop; Renault MADE OTHER MISTAKE in Hungary pits; Renault engine BLOWED in Monza.

--> Alonso, without mistakes, lost 18 points.

Don't talk about Suzuka... the championship was not decided there. Alonso had more problems than Schumy in the year. And didn't make same msitakes.

  • And dont get high and mighty about Schumacher cheating. Alonso has shown himself to be well capable of that too and has shown himself to have a very bad character such as break testing Doornbos in Hungary, saying his team didnt support him in 2006, frequently belittleing those around him, etc. I have no doubt alonso would use the exact same tricks michael did. In fact i think he would be even more ruthless.

  • you say what you think he would be... it is so easy, isn't it?

but the fact is that Michael made the bad things... alonso, or senna, or anyone, we can argue what they COULD HAVE done...

    but they didn't, michael did.

  • And what the fuck do you mean Senna didnt? Do you remember Suzuka 1990 at all? Or many of the other times senna was believed to have overstepped the mark? No of course you dont because you think there is one standard for senna and another for schumacher. Hypocrit.

  • Hey man! take it easy! you don't have to blame or curse. we are arguing.

well: senna really made bad things, and japan 90 is one fact that i don't feel pleased with.

well, but you must remember what happened in 1989, ok? i'm saying that it justify his acts, but it shows that the bad things he have done were not "for free"...

in schumy's cases, it was: take jerez 97 for ex. he could do nothing to avoid villeneuve's advantage, and just pushed the car over him!

  • * sorry, "i mean i'm NOT saying..."

  • and what do you say about what he have done in Austria 2002?

Man, ALL THE WORLD started to HATE Michael in that day!

Monaco 2006: he didn't need that, and he have done only in order to avoid alonso's certain pole.

i don't remember Senna receiving a victory from a team-mate (d'you remember japan 91?) not even parking his car in the last 30 secs of a qualify.

SEnna was NOT a saint, everyone know it. But Michael went far away...

  • In fairness the move in Austria 2002 was the teams decision but it was a poor judgement call by schumacher to accept the win. He did give Barrichello the win back in Indianapolis but no one seems to remember this. Schumacher had as much reason in 94 to do it as Senna in 1990 had, he was the best driver that year by a mile. Schumacher was unfairly disqualified from 4 races! Monaco 2006 was bad as well but jesus he did 250 races there is bound to be controversial moments.

  • What did he do to Barrichello in Canada? Team orders were perfectly legal at the time. Argentina 98 was 100% coulthards fault as was France 2000. Coulthard has a history of raising his fist when he cant pass - see Enrique Bernoldi. Coulthard is an idiot. Monaco 2005 was just ruthless driving, you gotta do what you gotta do. He was way faster than Rubens.

Canada 98 was questionable alright. Austria was again a bad team move which they should have learned from for the following year.

  • i like your comments - and i'm not beign ironic -even though we disagree.

  • ferrari gave rubens back his "wins" with schumi doing IMO a fake spin at the nurburgring slowing down at monza as barrichello came out of the pits and "screwing up" the photo finish at US

  • 2001: I think Michael was out early(he tried to get spare car yes but failed), and barichello couldnt handle the Mclarens... he was nowhere (or that was 2000, I forgot)

2005: He overtook barichello (caught him sleeping). Tell me, you don;t want overtaking? Who gives a rats ass if his team mate or not...

Argentina, was not his fault (if you are talking about Coulthard closing the door on already done move)

France: he defended/blocked Coulthard actually legally.

  • + RENAULT HAD THE MASS DUMPER first 6 races of 2006 then FIA banned but did not penalised

  • please, Alonso is good. but dont ever compare him with MS, there's no way any driver could be like the LEGANDARY M. SCHUMACHER.

    "note; LEGENDARY"....

  • I like u... :P

  • grandeeeee Shumi grandee

  • schumi is the best one!!! we miss u !

  • alonso is lucky he should loose 2005 and 2006

shumi was winner Hamilton is a winner, räikkönen is not good enymore alcohol has something to do it, MASSA IS GONNA BE TREAT 2008.

  • You obviously know nothing about racing. Alonso is a very good driver, Raikkonen is even better....Hamilton certainly has skills but when you compare the hours he practised in the MP4-22 compared to Alonso he isn't that impressive. And Massa? How about we call him the next Barrichello? Do your homework before spilling non-sense lad!

  • i miss u schumi:(

  • Michale number 1, all the time

  • And as soon as he got a pair of tyres that weren't screwed up, he closed on Schuey at over a second a lap :D

  • SCHUMACHER KILLED RENAULT, Alonso died like a pig. Alonso FAGGOT as you can see in the current Season, only crying and bitching around, the spanish bastardo

  • La traiettoria di schumacher nel sorpasso lascia a bocca aperta...commovente.Immensamente superiore agli altri piloti,in ogni tempo

  • true maestry, too bad he's not racing any more

  • Michael schumaer is the best drıver . He will always number one in the world.

  • haha alonso silde :D

  • fuck alonso

  • 100% agreed.

  • Schumi will always be better than alonso!

    this move just proves it!!!

by the way nice move by Fisi

  • Schumacher is the best F1 driver ever.. Alonso will never be as good as him and eventually he won't even win this year's championship. Too bad Schumi is gone, but Raikkonen is still here!

  • thats skill! cheeky move.

  • VERY VERY NICE!!

  • alonso had serious tyre problems due to an earlier tyre deflation. this isnt much of a comparison.

  • yes indeed not much of a comparison, but what about the superiority of michlen the whole season, even since 2005, when the FIA screwed ferrari with constant reg's changes 2 stop schumi's dominance,Alonso is good compared 2 the rest but u can't compare him with michael's super class. if alonso stood his driving skill, maybe he'll be the schumi (legend).

  • lol nice 1

  • now lithuanian commentators rock!they dont make mistakes, but sometimes make silly kind

  • great pass. Michael is 12 years older and still showed Alonso how it's done.

  • commentators are idiots. schumacher did nor make a mistake in turn 1. he took a different line to pass alonso. who let them on tv?

  • You're right, he did take a different line in order to set up the pass. Easy to see in retrospect, but while it was happening it could easily be taken for a mistake. I'd hardly call them idiots. I don't know where you're located, but the SpeedTV guys are the best F1 commentators in the U.S., and from what I've read on message boards, better than what they have in Canada and some other places.

  • actually we have SPEED and ITV in canada

  • yeh the canadians commentators are accutally idiots they always bring Villeneuve even when he was gone out of F1

plus they like to reuse the ppl so the f1 commentator is the same as hockey, basketball and other sports lol

  • Try getting satellite. TSN has the best commentators, in Canada and the US. Speed guys are idiots...I hate them.
