PS3 discs can hold more graphics and features then xbox360, microsoft said if hey where to try to run this game it would take almost 6 discs. Xbox360 always claims to have better graphics but have been proven over and over they cant support them. Just like when they said they cannot support this game. FFXlll is a great example of why its wrong to make full licenced ps3 games into xbox 360. this game is so big in memory it takes +4 360 disks..such a shame. while its ps3 succsessor only has 1 blu-ray disk. haha have fun wit al those disks i dont hope you lose them.

i would wait for lost odyssey for the 360...it looks alot more epic, also the same people behind all the Final Fantasy titles you know and love are behind it. And its going to be the largest game on any next gen system to date.
Lost Odyssey does look good, but the battle system didn't impress me like the animation part of the battle. Level-5 is became a great video game developer with in 5 years of its founding.

It's still currently in development. It won't be out in Japan until December 3lst. There's no word of a US release other than it's going to be localized and distributed sometime next year.

I already see a big problem. I bet the game is going to be short. It doesn't matter how good it looks if the game is only going to be 20-25 hours long. An rpg should be about 50 hours at the very LEAST.

Suffice to say it didn't end up looking as good or playing as smoothly. Still a pretty great game though.

It's still currently in development. It won't be out in Japan until December 3lst. There's no word of a US release other than it's going to be localized and distributed sometime next year.

I already see a big problem. I bet the game is going to be short. It doesn't matter how good it looks if the game is only going to be 20-25 hours long. An rpg should be about 50 hours at the very LEAST.

That is just my opinion. I figure it this way grapics really good+ps3 is a recently relesed console= short game. That's my logic behind it. We'll find out when it comes out. I hope I'm wrong, but most likely I am correct.

Because the goal is to take advantage of the better graphics. This results in a really good looking game, but it ends up being really short in the process. The game developers know that you will buy a game that looks really good. Eveyone will buy it for lack of any other good rpg's out at the time. Then when better rpg's start coming out, then you will get longer games.

actually this game will be a 60 hour rpg game,which is an average length for an rpg,but its long though so this are one of the coming rpg's that'll have a long story and its good too nowing you'll be usually fighting gargantuam monsters

cool, because early releases suck balls. I figured they were gonna try to ruch it, but now I am pleasantly surprised. However, that alone is not reason enogh to spend 500 dollars on a ps3. That won't happen until either tekken 6 or final fantasy 13 come out!

yeah thats good that the creator made sure that this game gets all the time it needs,and yeah since this game is coming in 2008 along with mgs4,ff13 and versus,tekken 6 so by that time ps3 has great games so that'll be the reason enough for you to get ps3 right, i guess patience will have to be your virtue for now lol im happy to just know that good games are coming so i can wait knowing good games are coming out and i think i'll be getting my ps3 in a few days

why are you lieing...? you dont get to create a character...I think your talking about Mass Effect where Bioware created a Bush look alike in the creation mode at the start of the game.
You play as the white knight, with that kid....

im lying? are you kidding yes you play with the rest of the main character but there is a create mode that allows you to create your own one character that journeys with the rest of the three characters and if you dont believe me look this up on ign dot com,gamespot dot com, and wikipedia dot com in ign they got pics showing an example of someone creating their character so i dont know what your talking about

Rpg's need incredible graphics, and a hardcore storage space. RPG's are long and need to have perfect backgrounds. The blu-ray system gives all of that to RPGs. That's why I will buy a PS3. Just for the RPGs.

Not really don't forget for the PS3 when it comes to RPG Exclusives you have White Knight Story, Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy vs 13 fINAL fANTASY VII, Kingdom Hearts 3, Star ocean, Dark Cloud 3, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3, Shin Megami Tensei, Omikron 2, and Elveon is coming out on the PS3 as well that isn't a Exclusives, Mist of Chaos i could go on and on but i'll stop there.

Don't just look at this game or any good PS3 exclusives without looking at Alan Wake, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gear of War, Halo 2, and other top Xbox 360 exclusives. That's why they call it an "Exclusive War". Both sides are trying to outdo the other with killer exclusives.

It doesn't matter. Any Rpg fan will buy a ps3. As long as sony can dish out good Rpgs, it will end up owning the 360. Don't forget the EyeofJudgment, which is a never ending rpg, in which you can ply with others. The more cards you get, the more fun. Actualy, that is the future of RPG's on a game console.
