Hello DaddyC! i was a good friend of Greg. we ate lunch and had happy hour everyday at the pep grill. my mother Lavette Paige did Greg's funeral and i was shocked to see so many musicians. Amy Simpson did a great job on "One Love' could you post that song please it really touched me. by the way great video Greg would have loved this.

this is just beautiful and a fitting choice, both intrinsically and personally. a wonderful rendition, Thom. I am quite sure that anyone who knew G and knows you will appreciate the LOVE apparent in the mix. I really wish I could have attended his service. I was recently querying him for a recording of his original instrumental "Chunky Loaf", remember that one? Here's to a great friend, man and soul ... Gregory Johnson, Rest In Peace, mate.

@drumsnvoice Blair, thank you so much for your heartfelt comments. I created the song & video in an effort to reach Greg's thousands of friends, who unfortunately, could not attend his service. During his life celebration, Pastor Lavette Paige asked for all the musicians in attendance to please rise. At least one third of the congregation stood. At that moment I thought, too bad there aren't instruments here. With all these great musicains we could tear up a version of Greg's "Chunky Loaf"!!!!
