Thank you so much for posting, my granddughter and I spent many hours together listening to and watching this. She wanted to take it to pre school and she let it there. Although she is 21 she still talked about this from time to time and we couldn't rememter the name. Now I have the name and have one located on Amazon. .
Can anybody please make Charlotte LaBouff (from The Princess and the Frog) play Sally the blue donkey and Tiana (also from The Princess and the Frog) play Mary the elephant?
This story may have been based on "James and the Giant Peach" since this nursery rhyme video involves a lonely little boy with a purple spider as his only friend. Maybe Spiker and Sponge were transformed into an orange elephant and a blue donkey as punishment for the way they had treated James after his parents passed away.
For the Disney crossover version of Sing Giggle and Grin, I suggest that it would have Russell playing the boy, Dug playing the spider, Tiana playing Mary, Charlotte LaBouff playing Sally, and Eudora playing the big gray elephant?
I wasn't too crazy about "Up," where Russell and Dug are supposedly from. I'd rather if Mowgli from "Jungle Book" played the boy, and Rosie from "A Bug's Life" played the spider. Even funnier I think would be an Ovide crossover version of RDFPAFS, with Bobo playing Bingo the dog, Cy playing the black spider, Ovide playing the boy clapping hands, Polo playing the kid holding up thumbs, Groaner playing the white teapot, Saffron playing the schoolbus, and Matilda playing the choo-choo train.
Perhaps, if the girl in "Where is Thumbkin" were named Sally, and the girl in "Wheels on the Bus & This is the Church" were named Mary. If I had to give the two boys names as well, also from those two songs, they'd be Johnny and Joseph.

That song at the beginning was also used in the Pound Puppies story "Snowball the Wonder Dog."
