yeh it makes sense. there is still an element of scare tactics in the speakers presentation on it though. i doubt common joe citezens will be detained indefinatly. but no doubt it will be abused (guantanamo bay is a perfect example) i think the real danger will come from the ID cards or RFID chips, very dangerous situation wen the govt can simply turn off ur identity and bank accounts....
if u dont' take the chip yu will be call a sleeper cell.

dude we gotta stop it happening before we get to the point where they want us to get one. otherwise its too late and they will jsut say
'oh u dont want a chip? fine but u will have no ID and no way to access you bank accoutn or buy anything from the store'
