you can tell he's either not at his healthiest here becos his hair is so stringy and lifeless which it was never! up until 93 here or he is terribly unhappy during the time of this film as his voice is so monotone and dreary (or both)... the most i have ever heard it in any of his interviews up until this point of his film career ... the traces of his decline and untimely end are all too present in this interview its strange and unsettling to watch .. i can just see it all x'(

@CheeseIsHxC yes, he was a method actor, always stayed in Character until the movie was done, even the director said it wasnt until the wrap party that he met the real River
