Now I may be reaching here, but if I come in your yard and start shooting and killing your family, I would assume that you would want payback. This is no different than what is happening today. I feel sick ive heard storys as well but never really believed fully but level of hate in iraq with everyone is amazing. A friend in training with me said he watched a whole family run over by a tank because of being out past curfew and he said as if it was nothing because he had lost five fellow tank engineers to a stacked mine. This guy wasent evil or an asshole actually he was really cool but i can see now that iraq changed him in a scary way.

I was in Iraq as a civilian contractor for 4 years. Take half of what Iraqis claim as lies. I saw the kind of incidents where they would claim they were shot at without warning. Bullshit. The Marines I worked with adhered to ROE and always warned with starclusters (a type of flare) before live rounds. And still they had to shoot individuals that charged the convoy. Witht hat said, I don't think we should have went into Iraq at all. Sadam was thier problem and no threat to us.
