I'm pro-gay marriage but not because of the "equal rights" words. Technically everyone has the right to marry a man or a woman.

However, prop 8 said it was "protecting marriage". Gay marriage barely hurts the "sanctity of marriage." Divorce and Adultury hurts it way more. The Divorce rate is around 50% and the adultury rate for men is around 50-70%. And yet under 10% of people in the population are gay. It is very clear prop 8 was made so the gays wold move out of California. And nothing else.
