@Maxzoe20 The quality is actually really good in my opinion. It is a sort of mix between EPS and EPO, so it holds its shape well (still kind of brittle like EPS), but it doesn't get hanger rash like EPS does.
@Maxzoe20 I have the 70mm version of this jet. Foam is bendy and brittle. Don't crash, or have a rough landing, your plane will break into many pieces. Mine is still in one piece, no crashes yet... but the stock BEC smoked up during build(not even flown yet).. a servo also smoked up... wouldn't recommend it.
@earthling1984 I also have the 70mm version from Starmax. The fan decided to explode after about 20 flights or so, but luckily i was on the ground during my takeoff run. aside from the mediocre Chinese electronics it flies great (very stable and a sweet looking profile in the air), the quality of the foam wasn't an issue for me, aside from getting a bit scrapped up when one of the retracts collapsed on one of my landings. I would recommend it as a kit, but not an ARF.
@HomeBrewed42 I agree that flight characterists are good. It isn't super fast, but it flies well and doesn't stall easily. It also slows down and lands nice. I had to remove the retracts because they just wouldn't stop twtiching(couldn't get all 3 to line up right). I replaced the main gear with fixed gear, the nose gear is still retractable. It does fly nice though, get the kit and put in some quality electronics and it is a good plane.
Note the wavering noise could be a sign of foreign radio signals interfearing with your transmitter.

So how did you find the quality of the foam?
