I especially like the way that the Typhoon pilot stated that he would "instantanly lose control" if the computer(s) failed.. Makes the pilot sound useless! Brilliant.

@weeleybin The computers in the Eurofighter are like the part of your brain that controls balance. You don't really have to think about balance but if something affects it (e.g. spinning) then you are suddenly aware of how difficult it is to even walk. In the Eurofighter the pilot can stop "thinking" about the equivalent of "balancing" and can concentrate on where (s)he is going, how to get there and using all the weapons and sensors.
