Cases like Jennifer Hudson's reminds us all that it can happen to anyone at anytime and that we shouldn't take the life we have for granted.And in retrospect,If this happened to Danny Bonaduce or Amy Winehouse, people would be sad but they wouldn't mourn. That's why I believe things like this happen to good people.We all need to mourn to truly appreciate what we have and not covet the things we don't.

Really her performance does not make it worse that this has happened. Yes bad things happen to good people all the time, while Amy W may not be the greatest of people I would never want something like this to happen to her either, NOBODY deserves this. This was the family of JH not JH. Amy's family may be wonderful folks (normal?) and that would be a tragedy as well.

No, you're totally right. I did come from a bias view I suppose. I guess a better phrasing would be this: there are people LIKE Amy that are basically asking for it with the reckless things they do to their bodies and people around them, and then there are others like Jennifer who have worked really hard to achieve what they do. She often credited her family for her success as well. In general it's just sad.
