It's important for humans to have hope in things that may not necessarily be proven by science. Things like heaven, for example. Sure, in some situations a person can be wrong to do that, and I think that Geller wasn't always doing it for peoples best interests, but If he is truly sorry for all that he's done, he deserves forgiveness at least for some of his sins.

You're not much of a scientist if your experiments on a psychic fail to show they are fake!! A 12 year science student could design a test that would definitively show whether someone is a psychic or not. It's not rocket science! However, if a claim IS falsifiable, then why not have at it? There reason no one tries to disprove Russel's teapot is because it is impossible. I had new found respect for Criss Angel that day.

James Randi is scum. Russel Targ and Hal Puthoff didn't 'waste time' with Uri because Uri always was and still is a genuine psychic, it was proven by SRI in the 70's, at million to one odds in double-blind tests, that Uri could demonstrate ESP.

Your mind then has to concentrate on how many times you would need to bend the spoon back and forth until the metal is weakened and becomes somewhat elastic. In fact, when on a show with Geller, Criss warned him that if Geller claimed he had supernatural powers, Criss would expose him on air. Geller did make that claim and Criss exposed him. I had new found respect for Criss Angel that day.

Even if he -could- bend spoons, that itself is not supernatural -everything has a reason or are natural even if it cant be explained at this time. Sure your mind can bend spoons but first your mind has to do some preliminaries such as taking the spoon you are going to work with later on for a show. Your mind then has to concentrate on how many times you would need to bend the spoon back and forth until the metal is weakened and becomes somewhat elastic.
