Halo CE: A nice combination of religious and sci-fi music that kicks off what is going to be an epic series.

Halo 2: A remix to the epic OST with more feeling and adventure.

Halo 3: Mixture of Halo CE and Halo 2 to make a bad-ass soundtrack.

Halo 3 ODST: (Haven't heard much music from it) A soundtrack that puts you in a lone wolf's journey.

Halo Reach: Blast from the past, no religious mix, making past foes feel a lot more bad-ass than before.

@Flamesofthunder Halo 1 is still the best . Halo Reach took a different approach which delivered a more somber atmosphere to the player , which was still excellent . Same for Halo 3: ODST , which delivered a mysterious atmosphere which was slowly uncovered for the player . Halo 1 , 2 and 3 delivered the classic hardcore Halo feel which Halo fans are very familiar with .

I think given Kat's description of the blast as "teleporting to oblivion" pretty much means that anything within the blast radius of that slipspace drive was disintegrated.

@DragonTamer1992 possibly so. the general theory on splipspace is that when you hit light speed you pass a great distance in a smaller time than it would take to go the distance normally. if you travelled at light speed without slipspace all the objects (even pebble sized) would tear your ship to shreds within seconds due to the speed you would hit them. i read somewhere that slipspace is just as dangerous and that to safely pass through it you would need a certain device which acts as a shield.

(slipspace continued) so it could possibly mean that, seeing as the whole ship didnt enter slipspace, the device wouldnt have covered the lost chunk of the ship which means they would have maybe even instantly died upon entering slipspace (oblivion as mentioned by kat). and the rest of the ship that wasnt teleported away would most likely have lost life support and all suffocated.

I think anyone would agree that the technology is tentative in nature. Any matter of things could go wrong. A slight error in navigation could send you colliding with an object at MORE than terminal velocity. The drive itself could malfunction, which is what Noble Team replicated to destroy the cruiser, causing an unstable slipspace whole which could potentially disintergrate any and all objects inside the field.

2. Noble team dies on reach. Bucks team is still kicking on earth.

3. Spartans have all sheilds and epic armor and all that and they all die. ODSTs better armor than a UNSC troop but Not as good as spartans.
