I personally think that video games developed way too fast in my opinion. I mean, we already have motion controls and even Kinect, where it uses your whole body. What else can we do OTHER than improving graphics? o_O

The thing is that console games run at low framerates, at low fov(field of vision) and are designed with the hardware limitations in mind in most cases. While the games might not look much better next generation; they could run far more smoothly and display a lot more stuff at the same time, as well as have improved physics etc. An example of a game ignoring the limitations is Ninja Gaiden 2, when enough enemies are onscreen it slows down a lot, yet even so it's better than the nerfed ps3 port.

So what I'm saying is plenty of betas aren't always betas they're more or less multiplayer demos that have a expiration date which they usually do anyways. The only way it really is the beta is that its them letting you playing a newer version of the game they have let you tested
